I noticed a bit of wind noise with mine too. I look at the roof rack cross bars and they were loose. So I screwed them tight again and that seems to help my noise.

Has anyone looks at the front marker lights for the noise. I think that is where some of the noise is coming from on one of my buddies H2.

I just bought my H2 SUV and experienced a loud wind buffetting noise over 80mph and I initially thought it was the mirrors, or maybe the two plastic towers by the windshield. I asked my dealer and he said it was a known problem on some H2's and would fix it for free. It was the seal in the A pillar. The basically take it off and seal it tight. I just got it back and now the problem is gone. By the way, they gave me an escalade as a loaner (what a piece of crap) and delivered my vehicle back to my house the next day.
If it is the sunroof, that is a structural problem and I would check your states lemon laws and have the vehicle replaced. I've had that problem on a corvette and a BMW 750iL and they can never fix it, no matter how nice or how many times they try. If it is coming from the sunroof and they don't fix it in one or two tries, I would use the lemon law to get a replacement vehicle. GOOD Luck |
Thanks Ken. It sure does sound like I have a similar problem with either the A pillar moulding or the wind deflector. I will have the mobile service come by and check it out. Thanks to all.
