Pewter is THE color. I mean Black, comeon. Not only is it the absence of color, it shows the absence of any thought process as well.

TheSkeptiks 06-21-2005 01:39 PM

No one has mentioned the Maroon color. I love that color. I am also a USC Trojan so maroon is a great color to me.
Black is my first choice. I just like blacked out cars/SUV's. Tinted windows are a must for me.

Let's see any group of 3 other colored H2s doing something like this.
(I'm expecting 3 black H2s posed on a parking garage ramp.)

DRTYFN 06-21-2005 01:58 PM

It just seems that the drivers of the pewter rigs have conquered more than the pretty colored(and lack of color) rigs. Don't hate.

ShaggyX 06-21-2005 02:00 PM

So 3 H2's in our group did Lions Back and they were all Pewter. Only 1 member of the group has done Golden Spike before, and he drives a Maroon s10. What does that say about Maroon s10 drivers? They can do tougher obsticles...with less vehicle.

LoLo 06-21-2005 02:21 PM

Pewter was the only choice for me... especially since I don't care to hand wash my truck (too tall with the light bar for any automatic washes!) very often!

I'm waiting on that photo of the blacks lined up in the parking garage! (filled with Neiman Marcus bags, no doubt! )

Just a thought: anyone notice how the "desert sand" seems to be a combination of the sage green and pewter? Must have had too much of that green paint left and needed something to do with it!

mstams 06-21-2005 02:54 PM

LoLo, you just reminded me...

Anyone see the black H2's in the movie Be Cool?

Talk about Blue Balls. In Shag's case, Maroon Balls.

Read it and weep folks...obviously YELLOW is the superior color.

Your Favorite Color: What it Says About You
Adapted from “The Healing Power of Color” by Betty Wood (Inner Traditions, 1998).
Simple Solution

Whether we’re a vibrant Orange, or a peaceful Blue, our color preferences are a key to understanding our personalities. Find out what this color expert has to say about your favorite color: what does it reveal about who you really are?

White: Symbolic of purity, innocence, and naivete,...

Red: ... those who choose it can be abrupt at times... quick to judge people and take sides.
.. so they may be unaware of their own shortcomings. They find it hard to be objective and may blame others for any mishaps.

Maroon: It is often a favorite color of someone who has been battered by life

Orange: This color of luxury and pleasure appeals to the flamboyant Orange people may be inclined to dramatize a bit. They can be a little fickle and vacillating,

Yellow: The color of happiness, wisdom, and imagination, Yellow is chosen by the mentally adventurous, searching for novelty and self-fulfillment. Yellow usually goes with a sunny and shrewd personality, with a good business head and a strong sense of humor. It is the color of intellectuality and all things to do with the mind. Yellow folks are usually clear and precise thinkers who have a good opinion of their own mental capacities and who have lofty ideals.

Gray (Pewter): The color of compromise. Older Grays like life to run on an even keel with few ups and downs. Young Grays may be withdrawing from life and suppressing their personalities. Grays often tend to over-work.

Black: Black people want to give the appearance of mystery, but their preference may also indicate a suppression of desires and worldly aims.

Co-pilot,

Ken wants you to pee on his face and stick your finger up his butt. But he's afraid to ask.

Yeah, there weren't any black, red, yellow(short bus) or desert sand rigs making their way up LB after TEAM PEWTER POWER got done. I didn't notice any "LB is now closed" signs after we came down so I'm wondering what happened.

SFox, why did you make your wife walk LB anyway? She could have hitched a ride.

Team Pewter Power will be giving free rides up Lion's Back on the next trip.

HUMMER H3 4 ME 06-21-2005 04:35 PM

I had to go with Stealth Gray and Desert Sand...
