Problem I found with that discussion is not whether or not DRLs are worth it, it was the idea that $3.00 in fuel per year was a logical reason to have them disabled on a Hummer.:D

Just make sure to check that temp before you take the truck in if you can. It'll be good info for the tech and may save him a step or two.
