maybe you could get an old choke pull switch and rig it up so that it pulled the appropriate plug wires off when you pulled on it and put them back on when you pushed the choke back in.

Get going on the interstate, pull the choke out and voila', DOP (displacement on pull);)

there's a guy in the H3 section with the best solution. Get you some corrugated piping, cut a hole in the front end to pipe in some air for ram air.

Hey guys... I appreciate the comedy but the reason why I posted this thread was for the purpose of gathering information to evaluate first hand as to whether this manufacturers' claims have any validity, and to share same with all because there have been many other threads posted looking for methods to improve mpg. Personally, I want the best of both worlds and if I can get it I will - and that is to own and operate this great rig and to improve HP and MPG at the same time! To each his own. Look forward to future replies. Thanks!

hummmmmmmmmmm.

1) you love the rig, but you want to improve the MPG on it... that will not happen.:(

2) More HP.... more gas.... :(

3) overall, this rig isn't the right choice for you if you're looking for ways to better your MPG.

best wishes for you.

Actually, the comedy is in expecting a serious answer to "improve my mileage" of a vehicle with 3.5 tons of weight,a large displacement V-8 with the drag co-efficiency of the city of New York.

This rig was never designed for any type of MPG, and if thats what your looking for, then I have 2 pieces of advise:

1-Get a second vehicle for day to day use.

2-Look up above the forum to the menu-Hit the "SEARCH" button. Put your comment in it and watch all of the previous threads about the same topic. My try at it found 214 threads on this topic alone.

Even if you improve milage 15%, thats a net increase of only 1.5 mpg. Not worth even consiferation, unless free or part of normal maintenance.
