You should organize a group Hummer run, as many members as possible...and just pull into the dealership at the same time....Id like to see the "&^%$" face then...

I am going tomorrow to pick up my new H2 SUV hoping you could help me with a few things. My comments are below in blue font.

Do you recommend getting the navigation system is it good do you find yourself using it and is it worth the extra $$$. I am 100% happy with my factory navigation system. I use it quite a bit.

Spare tire front back what do you think? Definitely get the exterior tire carrier. I put a locking lug nut on mine because I'm paranoid.

Any hummer owners from Orange County what?s the reception you get in your truck good bad. I live in South Bay, drive my H2 everywhere, and have never had a problem.

Just excited about moving to a new truck old truck was a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo.

You'll love the H2. We've had ours for about 15 months and it is still a treat to ride in. We haven't had a single thing go wrong with our Hummer. Hope you have the same experience.

As much as I hate auto dealers...

What happened to you was a result of many young lookie-loo's before you wasting their time.

But, the salesman I bought the new Porsche from took me for many test drives and everytime I rolled up in a Focus.

Your salesman was probably just lazy.

When you are young this is a annoying, when you are a little older it is fun to f$%^ with them, then it just gets to be a pain in the a$$ and you just present yourself so that people don't mistake what you can afford.

I hope you get a good deal out of this...

Good luck.

In my opinion, once its broken in the bose system is really not bad if you aren't into heavy bass, and i'm thinking about not ripping it out for an aftermarket system. Its no small task to replace a factory bose, as you have to gut the entire system and start over as bose tends to hide little amps and EQs here and there, and said amps and EQs are designed to work with the crap-quality bose speakers and not normal speakers.

But that said i think aftermarket NAV systems can easily be found that are superior to the factory system in my truck.

All things considered, i'd vote skip the factory nav, and get a Garmin hand-held unit. Just a thought.
