I guess I'm just too picky. I refuse to spend $777.77 on a "cover". I'm hoping to find some that have the heated seat/power options. I searched completed auctions and it seems as though a complete set of leather seats isn't really all that expensive. |
Re: I want leather
Someone had posted awhile back that they couldn't get the power hookups lined up correctly on an aftermarket. I don't know if he/she ever got that problem resolved.

Here's the thread you were mentioning Humm3 (I think)
Installed Factory Leather Seats Oh, well posting this was useless. The link to his photos is already posted... I guess this is a pad then... :D |

Re: I want leather
Why want leather. It makes your legs sweat and stick to the seat when its warm. The leather needs care and cracks anyway when its old. If it gets nicked or cut is hard to repair.
Cloth is a better solution. :grouphug: |

I disagree... Live in Miami (HOT & HUMID) Have 2 H-3's for 10 months and wear shorts 97% of the time... Solution: TURN ON THE A/C Yes Leather needs some care AND so does cloth (cleaning, tear repair, hoover) ETC... :beerchug: RYD |
Re: I want leather
I prefer leather which is how all 3 of the vehicles in my household are equipped.

Steve, Do they have silicon TIPS in Silicon Valley? RYD |
Re: I want leather
Cloth seats hold odors ... cologne, perfume, garlic chicken, chinese foods, any take-out... IMO. I had leather seats when I lived in Miami and never had sweaty legs when the a/c was on. :D
