I would go with the .38. Those featherweights are excellent, tiny guns and the kick is manageable for a woman. That's what my wifey has.

Yep. That's my thought on it.

The only gun I have right now that I feel she could shoot comfortably is an old .32, because it's very heavy, and MAYBE the Glock 26. The 357 and 45 are off limits. She'd hit the ceiling.

I have one of those and the wife doesn't like to shoot it. The glock has a huge grip, little fingers can't wrap around it. But that shouldn't be a problem for the CP. :) :OWNED:

If you get it, make sure to get those extensions for the magazines that allows you put you pinky on the grip. It gives a lot more control. But if you're gonna conceal carry it on your hip or ankle it sticks out a lot more.

I've had one for years and it shouldn't be a problem for her getting the fingers around it.

Keep her away from the +Ps and she should be happy.

I like it on the hip, or in the pocket, when necessary, so I've never had the extension.

I leave this for the S/O for protection. She's a small girl and it feels just right for her. She's fired it at the range many times and Tammy like this one best. She asked me one time why some of the bullets have holes in them.:D

I hear what your sayin Ken. Sounds like she's a little small. For verification purposes I'll need some "hood ornament" pics to be sure. ;)

With her dislocated shoulder she'd never be able to hold up her end of the repairs.

Sheeez... Get it together.

I think way too many here are missing the point.

The original handgun I posted shoots both a .410 shotshell and a .45 Colt. One can chamber 2 .410s with buckshot for defense purposes and follow that with a .45 if wanted.

Shooting a .410 at the BG can be a much more effective defense for many than the required accuracy of the typical single slug handgun round.

That would be a GREAT little stopper!---With Crimson Trace Grips of course!....Even the Delicate Princess--CP, could handle it!

Go get a 22 auto pistol (ruger) and a 10/22 , a couple bricks of ammo, and GO SHOOT! :D Quite Typin about it, and GO Do!!....Let the collection begin! :D

Hey, Did you guys know that Colorado doesn't honor the Virginia CCW? Colorado honors any state's permit if that state recognizes a CO permit. VA doesn't. What a loser state. You guys should get out of there ASAP!
