Agreed, BTM can actually enhance your off roading experience with more thought and planning going into your line and how to put your truck into the obsticales. I have a base H3 and was very concerned about the crawing and rock work. With good spoters, BTM, and proper air pressure I went almost everywhere the H1 and a H3 with a locker went. It took more work but in the end was more fun. The two things i bailed on was a rock slide down with full frame contact (the other had full shielding) and a very steep face that I screwed up on and got spining half way up.
