They do clog and you have to keep an eye on them.

I plan to use one and if I see any ill affects, off it goes.

At any rate - I thank you for the posting and it is great to see everyone on the board keeping an eye out for everyone else!! :beerchug:

It's not that it clogs, it's that it's also a poor filter. It's no big deal if you're not into long term ownership. On that line of thinking, why not just ziptie a chunk of old t-shirt over the opening?
