After seeing those pics, I'm saddened that we're not in that parking lot with you guys.
It also gives me the urge to go pee on something.:giggling: :shhh: |

Homo? Is that supposed to be a dig at me? Poor language skills? You know it is hard to type with 2 limp wrists. :) For the weight I was referring to the spare tire, the hi-lift, and the other useless crap you haul around up there. Being top heavy isn't a good idea no matter how much that pig weighs. |

You think a spare tire is useless? Have you ever been off road? Do you even own a car? Homo. |
Re: New Gear
Now thats an H2 TANK! Nice!!!

To answer your questions.....No, Yes, Techincally no because I own a SUV.:beerchug: Put the spare on a swing out carrier of some sort, or put it inside if it will fit. Nothing screams "wannabe" like a big overloaded rack on the roof of your rig. Its all about having a lower center of gravity. See, I'm just trying to help you out here. :) |
Re: New Gear
It looks sweet, congrats!

Re: New Gear
I dont know why i have to jump into this fire... but here it goes.
Adam, i love the look. i would like to get the spare tire carrier off the back of mine, because i like the look.... BUT The hater is right to a point. Higher center of gravity sucks. Did you affect the offroad handling... maybe a touch on real steep stuff.... but.... Where I drive, the H2 is either to tall or too wide. most of the time i need to take my rubicon. but when we can play with the hummer,(on the dunes) putting a bumch of stuff up there would be a beech... but amen brother, nice looking rig! Chrome dont get ya home, and no mater how much you think it might, it will never get you laid. |

Maybe ask a guy not well known whose name is Phil. He had an H2 with tire on top. I dont think it really affected hime in any negative ways while offroading:jump: |

What do you drive big time? Pics of you off roading please.... |
Re: New Gear
I think your rig looks tough as hell with everything on it. I especially like the side ladders. those look awesome.
I was looking at those for my H3 and was wondering if they would be overkill. I am getting a wilderness rack this week and i think the side ladders would go great with it. Nice job man! |
Re: New Gear
The center of gravity thing is true to a point. Does Adam have a ton of stuff up on the roof? YES! Does it hinder his off road performance? NO!
At the end of Hell's Revenge there is a part called the squeeze. On the lev-o-guage it pushes 43. Adam's truck did not lean any farther than the trucks without a roof rack. That weight up there is minimal VS the weight of that truck. I stand by this comment with a lifted H2 also (Rancho or Fabtech). Many have made the comment "that thing is gonna tip over now that you lifted it." BS! Phil's truck had a6" Fabtech and a tire up top. No differnece there either. |
Re: New Gear
Looks good, Adam. BTW, your truck now officially weighs more than my mother-in-law.
