Well, you do live smack in the largest Canadian Goose flyway, next time take a quick look above your rig....can never trust those dern Canadians!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
I tried with the stereo on or off and it didnt make a difference.
It seems as if the sound only comes on when I depress the pedal a certain amount. If I leave the pedal depressed at the point when the sounds starts, I can keep it going. However, if I let up or press a little more it goes away. |
The noise is your rear control arms. the bushings were redesigned for 2006 and make the noise. Gm has redesigned them(again) and the new ones are much better(quieter)

Is there a service bulletin or anything that I can show the dealership? |

Re: Random Honking Noise
Has anyone gotten this problem fixed yet?

I've had the same sound, usually when I am accelerating in a turn, and mine is an '05. It's not the DVD in the headrest either because mine doesn't have that. I've refrained from taking mine to the dealership with this problem knowing that I would really get the infamous service department comment, "Dumb woman...blonde one at that!":o |
