Neo is a good guy. He actually allowed an H2 owner to come into his house during a downpour!;)

If it's raining, and I'm covered in mud, can I go into your new place to wait out the storm?:p

Big Bill, I went on a trip with some friends from this site and learned quite a bit. There are some really knowlegeable wheelers here.

Later, I took a course from an extraordinary guy who has no vehicle bias. His name is Bill Burke and he is, in my opinion, the most knowledgeable authority on off-roading. Period. You can find him here:

During the June Moab Trip i went to Neo and a few other H3's went up Tipover Challenge and Wipeout Hill with no problems. There was also a H3 that went up Golden steps with no external help and also finished golden spike with no problems. H3's are very capeable vehicles and they can do alot of things that I would have never expected them to do.

That's awesome! I can't wait to see some video of this and all the other claims out there.

It'd really shut up the Heep crowd.:excited:

Has anyone seen videos of H3's doing their part?

Has a H3 been up and down Lionsback? I think that would be awesome to see and in the future do, either driving it or riding in a H2! Just a curious thought here on Lionsback - I take it you don't ride your brakes going down it? How do you drive something like that?

Put her in 4 low, lock the differencial if you have one and put the truck in 1st gear. The H3 crawls great.
But Loins Back is closed.

I do have the off-road package with the locking differential. Why is it closed?

I have read that extra parts are always a good thing! Other than the stealership, where would I get these parts? I saw something about tie rods. Are the ones in the H3 robust or do they break easily?

For long trips into the boonies, like Moab, what do people do for fuel?

Bill

Bill,

I am in the KC area, Overland Park to be specific. I take it you have talked to KSTreker about a trip down to KS Rocks over Labor Day or some time early Sept. There are only a few of us Hummer owners in KC that are okay with getting their trucks dirty. Everyone else seems to be all about the bling (especially around here in OP and Leahood)

Lions Back is on private land. The new owners don't want to deal with the liability issues.

Hey NEO, I know you're doing a ton of wheeling there and that's great, but where's the vids of PSH and Escalator? We keep hearing about it being done in a 3, but haven't seen it. Just pics of a 3 at the bottom and at the top.

We need vids!!!

BTW, did you answer the question about the SFA 3 in FL? Looks awesome.:beerchug:
