Re: Under bumper Hitch options
[quote=jersey]I use a fuel additive that has increased my mpg to nearly 25, granted, I'm not towing anything, but I'd be curious to know if you can do better than 14mpg with this additive. To that end, if you're passing through NJ stop and I'll donate enough additive to treat a full tank of gas and you can report back the findings online when you have time. Should be a great test. Only catch is that once added you'll need to top off the tank in order to mix in the product properly(it can not be added to a full tank) and for conducting the test I'll throw in a crisp $20 bill to assist in the top off.
Jersey, I will take you up on that offer.... Where are you? W:popcorn: |
Re: Under bumper Hitch options
I looked up CA40G... not many places sell it...closest to me sells BULK only and is about 80 miles away...will look for more info and see results on the forum...
25mpg is 20% more then i get on the road... |
Re: Under bumper Hitch options
I buy my CA40G direct from the co's website. I get a quart at $35. + about $7 shipping. In my H3 I use 1.5oz of product. So 1 quart is enough to treat 21 fillups from empty. So its costing me $2 of product per tankfull. That $2 is netting me what about 75 miles per tankful. You dont need to be a math whiz to see the savings are tremendous.
Its important to note that your "style" of driving likely differs from mine. In the 74 miles one way that I drive I face just 2 small hills to and from work, the rest is virtually flat. I leave for work @ non-rush hour times. I drive only at the posted speed limits having seen first hand through loss of life and thousands of tickets on the Jersey Highways what happens to those who dont. And I almost never pass anyone driving slightly slower than me, instead I just slow a little too and mellow out behind them til they turn off ahead at some point. I'm never really in a rush. That said you may not see the gains I have, but you'll certainly do MUCH better than you're doing now. If you buy the product by the gallon instead of by the quart it'll cost you less (only $28.75 per qt.) I only have the 2 vehicles, and I only go to work twice a week (Fire Dept.), so 1 qt. is plenty for me, but if your household has more vehicles, or more travelling to do, a gallon at $115. is a bargain. Or maybe split it with a neighbor/relative? I stand by my testimonial of the product. It does EXACTLY what it claims to do and in some cases works even better! Points of fact: I don't work for the company, I'm not a sales person, I don't get discounts for referrals or any compensation whatsoever for mentioning the product. I'm a customer and have been for over a year and unless someone makes a better product I will continue to be a customer for ever. |
