I have a slight variation of the wav I keep on getting in my H2. I'll have to take a pic of the back of my truck tomorrow and post it.

I always wave and 9 times out of 10 we get a wave back or even yes, a wave first. :) I was thrilled with my first wave from a Brooks and Dunn H2 that we'd seen in town a lot even before we got ours. :clapping:

I'm going to stick my neck out here just a bit on this one. I don't usually wave unless someone else waves first. I'm obviously in the minority here in thinking that the H2, and H2 ownership, doesn't fall into the same "category", for lack of a better word, as do H1s, Vettes, motorcycles, and exotic vehicles like Lambos, Ferraris, etc.

I passed 6 in my 12 mile drive to work today, I was 0 for 6 hmmm I am guessing there are just so many around.... All of them were stock trucks.

Re: Back to Basics "The Wave"

Is it uncool for an H2 driver to wave to an H3 driver? I know back in the day during my Porsche phase, the hard core PCA members didn't consider the 914 and 924 true Porsches.

:giggling:

I like to think I am a regular waver, however I can count on one hand how many times it has been returned. It got me to thinking maybe they cant see me becasue everything including the windshield is tinted. So sometimes I do the light flash also, but still get the same results.

And this one guy in particular always waves and I have no Idea who he is, seems like a nice guy. But he's always sure not to spill his BEER!!!;)

I don't wave anymore... I gave up. There are 4 H2's that live within a mile or so of me. Not one of them wave. You'd think that because they live close, just as a neighborly gesture, they'd wave.

Fuk 'em... I ain't waving anymore....

Re: Back to Basics "The Wave"

Back in the day when I had my vette, we all waved religiously to each other. So when I got my first H2 I started the wave thing again. I'd say off the cuff that only about 40% will wave back. I wave at all the models. Seems like that H2's will wave back more so than the H3's. Not asking for your first born...just a "hey nice rig" wave....My wife busts my chops for waving, but I see motorcyles around here waving to each other....even cross brands....yes...harleys waving to hondas.....so why the heck not hummers!

Re: Back to Basics "The Wave"

This has been something I've been wondering about. Since Im relatively new with Hummers I wasn't sure what kind of response I would get. When I had a Jeep, it was rude not to wave at a fellow Jeeper, but now i've grown up a bit and have a Hummer waves are few and far between. Most of the times if you pass a fellow owner it's more of a staring competition to see whose ride is nicer, followed with a smirk. Anyway I say it's time to bring the Hummer wave back to Texas(just not to H3's)haha
