It is pricey, but I think the functionality you get with the rack is worth the price.

Look at it this way. A Garvin rack + XTC/SMA bar is gonna run you around $1200-1300. For a couple hundred more I like the looks and function of the Gobi much better.

Once I get my second job, I'm getting one.

AND YET A NEW PROBLEM!!!!!!

The covers have a rubber "O" ring on the snap to hold them on. One of them broke the other is cracked! Already?? Now I can't put the covers on. It is illegal here to drive on public roads with the covers off! I guess I need duck tape!What a Shi>>ty design. I hope they don't use them on the shuttle!

Did the dealer install them?

If they did I would make them give you new covers under warranty.
