that's effing ridiculous, it sickens me how people just turn their back now adays instead of getting involved. You can bet your ass if I saw someone screwing with a vehicle I would definitely step in to inquire WTF.....

I mean someone sawing cats off vehicles or stealing U-steps, how the hell can no one see these things happening.

Also did you check to see if the mall had any security camera footage where you could see the truck??

WOW... that is ballsy. I have 2 LE steps on my truck for the front 2 doors, still looking for another 2 but we dont have kids and hardly ever have anybody in the back seat of our H2..... we dont really drive the H2 much as my wife takes the train which we live 1 block from and we have 3 cars. I wonder if switching the nut to some kind of star pattern or using a Torx bolt (something a bit out of the ordinary) could help deter a potential theif. It really boils my blood when people have to steal/fu(k with another person's property...... go out and earn your own, dont steal it from others who worked hard for it!!!

You've got LE steps--no need to worry about getting those stolen.
It's almost easier to take the transmission out that it is to get those damn things off!

Sickens me still!! And, I dont even want to stick my old step bars on! So, I guess Ill keep searching for ANOTHER set of U-steps! FML :mad:

Hey man, I hear you. In the past when I had something stolen from me I was steaming and looking to hang someone over it for years, still bugs me. Anyway, I would keep your eyes open on Craigs list or any of the local sites in your area where people go on to sell stuff. Might be able to catch them there and take them to a dark forrested area that nobody knows about...:raar:
