Whats really Ironic is the fact I hang out over at Sandlake duners. They have a fun web site & are always having rides out to Sandlake.
Check them out at www.sandlakeduners.com

Nice find Yetti. I didn't know that forum existed. I'll be sure to uphold the Hummer honor over there.

Every time we're down there ripping around everyone stops to watch the Hummers play. We get so many guys coming up to us saying how "bad-ass" they are.

Leave it too Oregon to turn fine suvs into a political debate. I live here in Eastern Oregon and have the H2 and a few of my buddies drive H1s. We enjoy the differences between the two and enjoy the experience of being friends. Being the only Hummer in town for over a year, I round up the locals with jeeps, cheverolets, fords, dodges, and toyotas for the trek across the mountain. I have lead every adventure and it takes two of them to pull me out when I get stuck but we all laugh and keep on goin. I get stuck a lot less these days since figuring which 4x4 option works best for which situation. I enjoy the forum and love the input except the homo minded yuppies who just wish they could have a hummer. Thanks guys and gals.

That shouldn't be nessary. the folks at the Sandlake forum don't take kindly to being disc'd while tring to enjoy their sport. I know you would be as welcome as I if you showed up at one of there beach clean ups or other events.

Is it just me, or are those pictures of just treelines and a few headlights?
Brighter please!

No. If you'd ditch your old Etch-A-Sketch monitor you'd be able to see the picture better.

Hey! I replaced the batteries in my etch-a-sketch, and I can see the pictures now! What a difference!

Those are nice pic's drtyfn. I only wish you had posted the one where all 4 tires were off the ground( of your H2).
We'll have to keep an eye out for the locals. OH YEAH!! They must be the ones that sit on their bikes while the Hummers Play!!

By the way, GoneGolfing, when you get together with all your "friends" in eastern Oregon next time, be sure and sing some Cum Bayah.

Drty, are we off to Sand Lake again? Lets go mudding or up in the snow. I'll take the kids and check it out up by Timothy Lake. What'd'ya think?

Sunday the 16th.
So far we've got you(H2), me(Uber H2), Scott(H2), Rod(H1) and possibly Emily(H2SUT). Perfect sized party.

Timothy lake sounds like fun what with all of the recent snow. Sand first, snow next.

Yetti, I didn't mean to give the impression I was going to start anything over there, just uphold the honor of the Hummers. Just making sure only the facts get told with no embellishments or exaggerations added.

It turns out one of the guys on there and I have a mutual friend. Small world.

Where aboots is Sand Lake? Can you post a map?

ROX 01-10-2005 01:32 PM

Sand Lake is located 15 miles south of Tillamook, Oregon right on the beach.
It's called Sand Lake Recreation Area.
I hope this picture shows up.

Oh sweet! I know where it is now.

Seaside Oregon is one of our most loved getaways(When I was dating my wife) and it doesn't look that far off.
