Buckeye - I honestly had tears coming out of my eyes after your post - most excellent!

When I grow up, I want to be half as good as an offroader as Alec...especially since he is SO much OLDER than I am...I have many years to practice! LOL

Don't you pipe up, too. Shouldn't you be figuring out how to lay more fiberglass on that Butt-Probe project car?

argonaut 12-20-2003 05:11 PM

Yeah, where is Dennis with his magical pictures?

I simply posted a video that I thought was worth sharing. All I got to say is:

Did someone say dick?

Hey Cranky...

Flipped your tractor eh?

I wouldn't know for sure...but you really have to watch yourself when practicing for those tractor-pull contest.

alec... what cobra CB did you install and where did you put it??? just wondering. I have the handheld one.

(pics soon to come....nikon 5700 on order!!!)

unaslob

Corsa Sport exhaust(offroad 'tip'), Gobi rack w/ lights & w/roof mounted tire w/ ladder, Warn Winch with rear power, Dual Wolo Airhorns w/ lanyard valve, Hadley Aircompressor 130PSI, 14" airtank, front and rear quick disconnects for air, Cobra 75 WX CB, Dual 4' Firestik fiberglass whips, front tinted windows, 7" Homer Simpson decal (teehee)!

ANTI_H2 12-22-2003 09:26 PM

This video just shows the terrible construction of the H2 and its lack of offroad capabilities. I would not take it offroad at all.

Do you actually own an H2? It really makes the point of what you would do with one irrelevant doesn't it? You obvoiusly don't know a thing about off-roading either as this kind of thing can happen to any rig at any time, it's the risk you accept when you leave the pavement. Try and have a valid point before posting again.

Thanks in advance,
Seth

I have to disagree about that happening to any rig at anytime. With open differentials, and a lot less weight I think i can safely assume that I will never break a tie-rod on that streach of trail. I did have to remove some "extra" pieces from my rear diff when I got home after running that trail (same day as Alec), but that is completely besides the point.

I think the funniest part of that video is still my dumbass comment "oh ****...does anyone else see the wheels". Priceless

ShaggyX 12-22-2003 10:00 PM

You remember the trailer hitch thing??? I am still proud of that one. That takes talent.

It has been a week or 2 since I have posted here, so I felt the need to be overly literal, and/or sarcastic.

unaslob 12-22-2003 11:28 PM

about the cb... that is the one I have installed... I installed it under the dash and hung it on the just right of where your right knee would bang, but lower. my only complaint is that the cord is not quite long enough...
