I've shot several models by Kahr. I have to say, though they have a good rep and people I know and trust know them better than I and trust them, IMHO, ummm, well, I don't like 'em. LOL Can't give you a good reason. Just a feel and a firing experience that didn't sit well. I hate to say this, but (to me)they feel more like a Jennings than an HK or SIG. Ouch. Sorry. But that is just how they felt to me and I can't even say why. If you end up getting one, PLEASE torture and fire the crap outta it and let us know what you find?

This question is not really related to this posting, but what does this symbol on the slide mean?
I've got the same symbol on the side of my pre-bastardized .40cal Walther p99QPQ.

I think it's Hebrew for antler.

Ree,

I just got my American Rifleman NRA magazine in the mail (Jan 2006 issue). One article of note:

In A Class By Itself: Kahr’s Mini .45 — Wiley Clapp (page 40)

Ever since the first compact Kahr pistols were introduced in 9 mm, we’ve been asking for one chambered in .45 ACP. It’s finally arrived and, yes, it was definitely worth the wait.

Yeah, thanks. I got mine a couple weeks ago and saw this positive review. That plus my desire to add a potent, tiny gun to my collection instigated the research.
