I think the stealth gray will be the color of my next Hummer if GM doesn't decide to add blue to the color choices next year. If not, maybe I'll just have my pewter custom painted blue.

How can someone named Raven not prefer black?

Keeping black clean and shiney is easy. Just give it a good bath and wax. Then stick in the garage under a cover. There's no other way. And it stays beautiful for days, even weeks.

Pewter
Reason: Pewter is the most popular color of auto sold. So I assume when I get ready to sell, I can more easily find a buyer. |

All the colors are cool and I especially like White and Black but I bought Stealth Gray since I like the color and it's a little different!

Stealth Gray looks pretty nice. I like many of the colors. Each color has different ideas that they lend to a perticular look as far as custom or just dress up ideas. Gray was just more scarce and I liked it with out any thought about it. It just jumped out at Me as being out of the ordinary and not like all the other year models of colors I have seen running around so, I just did not want to match to many others. It has paid off in many ways that I had not thought off. The custom work that the Gray leaves so many possiblities by allowing You to add black, pewter, white, silver, and many other colors for airbruhing themes or just accents with the different colors works real well.
So My vote went to Stealth. I like evveryone's rig especially if they put their personality into it. But, DRTYF I'm grateful that You have reserved Your personiality from being planted all over Your nice Pewter. ![]() ![]() TAZ |
Nice racing vids with a Hayabusa

You've gotta watch this video of an 900hp+ Viper racing some tricked Hayabusas and a tricked ZX12R.
I'm not impressed with the Viper's acceleration during roll-ons. There's tons of great videos on this site: http://www.fastdrive.org/download.php?view.94 |
Personally, I chose Pewter because that's the color my beautiful wife looks most beautiful in...

Aw! That's really sweet, but what do you think of your little poll now Chakra boy? Black is still winning....

ORANGE! It is a true color! It especially looks good with chrome details.
I went with Stealth because that's the color I'm trying to get now, and they don't offer Orange anymore. ![]() Besides, even if I have a stroke, I'm going up Lions Back just to get a picture of it. ![]() ![]() |

My first choice was black, but with only two left in the delivery (and black not having the options) ....PEWTER POWER!

LoLo just called and said to change her vote from Pewter to anything but Pewter! In Dallas traffic she came to realize that Pewter is INVISIBLE! Forget "Stealth" Gray, Pewter is equipped with an "Invisishield".
After nearly getting run over by countless idiots, she did battle with a semi for lane rights. When he tried running her off the road (literally) and flipped her off, she called the trucking company, reported him, and was told he would be fired as soon as he showed up with his delivery! ![]() ![]() |

A long time ago I was a secretary for a company that had trucks. I was speaking with my boss who was driving one at the time and a woman had called on the other line to complain about his driving. I told her to hold a moment:
Me: "Mr. Johnson, a woman is on the other line and she said that your truck cut her off and she is upset..." Mr. Johnson: Slammed on his brakes "Ask her if she liked that!" lmao..Switch lines- Me: "Ma'am I'm really sorry about that, my manager said the driver will be fired when he gets back to the shop." ![]() |
Only reporting what I was told to post.

We actually DO fire our drivers for that crap.
At least he didn't hit LoLo and FORCE her to buy a different color! ![]() Perhaps one of the R A I N B O W colors. ![]() |

Back home... safely, thankfully! This all happened at about 3pm... we were at a merging of two highways, and he just kept on coming -- regardless of the fact I was in the lane he was merging into! (...just about even with his cab at the time!) I moved over, quite upset, and laid on my horn -- to which he replied with his! (Dennis, I could have used the train horn about then!
![]() Pretty pissed about this point, I turned on my turn-signal -- tried to warn him -- and nearly lost my spare when I whipped to my right and into his lane. He wasted no time to jolt left and pass me -- while we shared "salutes". As soon as he got me even with the middle of his trailer, he weaved into my lane trying to force me off the road -- through the car on my right! This was the point in which I forwent my exit (in less than 1 mile) and chased the bastard down until we could get all the numbers off the back of the truck. As soon as he sped up and tried to lose me, he cut off another car (this time a Taurus) I didn't hesitate to call -- and give them a rundown of the incident that had just happened. I doubt that any action will be taken, but the WOMAN on the other end -- the safety control officer -- assured me that he would be losing his job over it. ![]() |
After talking with my dealer they tell me black has the higher resale value?
pewter then white? correct me if i`m wrong |
LoLo,
the funny part is, even if nothing "long term" happens to the driver of an OTR truck... generally, if the have a complaint, they have to make a stop and get "drop urine" -- get drug screened on the spot... that will always be a pisser, even if nothing comes of the complaint, it causes some sh*t... LoLo, I had a guy recently try to merge in front of me. I'd already let one person in, like everyone else. But here comes mr. dumb ass in a van right up next to me. Hell, the H2's as big as his van so this wasn't going to work. I never moved an inch and let him drive on the shoulder. He got the hint as the guardrail approached.
![]() |
I've actually collided with this one dumbass that tried to force his way on to my lane because his was ending. NO damage to mine. But the back half of his was buffed/carved black by my tires!
