What's the noise in the background when the Rubi is going down the hill?

Did anyone make it up "Jeep Eater"?? Love the lift on the Hummer, and dare I say......Nice Rubi .

Awesome pics!

How does the guy in the Jeep like his procomp xt's?

That paticular Jeeper, loves his Xterrains.

I had a chance at a set of 35" Xterrain take off for $600 bucks and passed on the deal.

I think I have my heart set on a set of 37's. And even though I think the BFG MT's are probably a better off road tire than the MT/R's, I'm going to go with the MT/R's for the on road off road balance they provide.

I don't care how long I have to wait, because frankly I think I do quite well off road with my stock tires as is.

Only the Rubi made it UP the Jeep Eater that day. Maybe it is named wrong? From watching the several folks that tried, the front locker seemed to be the determining factor. Second was the simple weight issue. The Rubi did not have near the tonnage to pull up the incline and was getting great pull with both front tires. With that said, had it been dry that day and not muddy and slick, the H2s would have been fine.

I do think watching the H2s sold me on getting a front locker installed. We need to do a group buy here in DFW!!!!

I'm sold on a Front Locker as well. I just want a better price than the 4 Wheel Parts Price.

The Jeep also didn't take the Trail Line. He bypassed both of nasty ledges that make that trail what it is by going up the right hand side of the trail.

And yes, on a dry day H2's can smoke Jeep Eater all day long, and NOT go around the 2 toughest ledges.

Wow!!! In #3 it looks like that H1 is really tearing it up trying to get up that ledge.
Looks like fun.

What kind of camera are you using to take those pics? They look very clear.

Detonate 01-25-2004 12:45 PM

The one of me in the driving through the water on page 1 was taken with a 5 mega pixel Olympus C5050Z in SHQ mode.

Most of the other pictures were taken with a 4 mega pixel C4040Z in HQ mode.

The last pictures on this page were taken with a 6 Mega Pixel Digital SLR. Probably Nikon D100, or a Fuji FinePix S2. I can't remember which.

I have a couple friends that cryed up and down that they didnt have to change there all terrains to mud terrains. Being able to wheel around the same vehicle that had MT on it, how big of a difference did you notice seeing the Mud Terrains perform as oppose to the stock All Terrains...???

Maybe I should read and watch more before I ask my questions... lol Not only does this show you need knobs like Mud Terrains instead of All Terrains but also shows you need to be locked in all away around... Lockers are the only way to do it... I love it though.. Keep Diggin

Mud Terrains made no difference on that climb. Actually I got farther on my All Terrains, than the vehicle with the MT's got.

It was all about having a front locker there. And the Jeep with a front and rear locker was the only one to make it up.
