And what exactly is my type? I'm learning quickly that Hummers are not "my type"

So far, The short time I've been on this forum, I've learned the following things:

- No one has given me valid advice for finding a H2, they seem preoccupied with the Prius.

- Golf carts can pretty much do anything an H2 can

- H2 Owners will often mistake their H2's for a LandRover

- Hummer owners have a negative reputation to uphold. (I've seen more people that hate Hummers than any other car or truck I've seen)
Keyed H2
Keyed h2 X2
Vandalism
Hummer haterd
More Hummer crap

- The majority of the Hummer owners bought it because of the looks, not the off road capability. The thing is a tank, and expensive so what "look" are you guys going for?

Lift kit for looks
95% Highway

So... by saying Hummers are not my type I can actually take that as a compliment.

You're right...they are not your "type". Mainly those that have a set...own one. On the other hand, have you ever thought of maybe a Geo Tracker?:D Also, might want to change your name on here from H2 "lover".

Oh, I'm sorry Mr. Gates. Please don't buy a Hummer, I'd hate for the public to have another reason to b!tch at us.

Wow....Mr. H2Lover...your something else. You say you want to buy an H2 but you just want to piss on all of us for owning one.

The LR3 is crap now that Ford owns them. If you want a Land Rover product that is more your "social status" then perhaps a Land Rover Sport or a Lexus LX470.

We all love our H2 and really wouldn't even think of getting rid of "Her"!

Perhaps the Hummer just isn't your cup of tea, and the boys at the local Starbucks will just laugh at you. Stick with your BMW.....you don't belong here.

I'm getting flamed more than I'm getting advice in here. I'm asking for advice about buying a Hummer but I'm being told to go get a Prius or a Tracker instead. (or telling me I don't belong here)

My LR3 comments are based on what I've seen on the internet, I haven't driven one yet. I'll probably test drive one when I get back to Md.

And whats up with the Starbucks comments? I really enjoy their coffee, Hummer drivers don't drink coffee- or the H2 can't fit "her" fat arse through the drive through?

So, what is it that you are asking?
1. Is the H2 for you? Probably not
2. Am I a snob and need something that is going to make people like me?
I'm guessing....Yes
3. Will people like me b/c of my daddy's money? Some of the more
shallow people might
4. Do I need to find another forum to post mindless BS on? I'd suggest
it...right away!

So what your saying is a golf cart can go anywhere a H2 Can?

It seems from what I've read in here so far is that Jeep and Landrover owners are a tighter crew. I've seen Hummer owners try to replicate the "Jeep wave" but it seems lame when Hummer owners do it.

The LR3 seems like a much cooler vehicle and a lot more capable off road. I'd like to see a LandRover go head to head with an Hummer.

My next test drive will be the LR3.

Gee, can I come over and piss on the carpet at your house?

Wow, Hummer owners bring teh rage.

Do you all have high blood pressure?

I was just asking for info to make a decision so my Dad doesn't wind up taking a loss again. I originally decided to get a Benz, but didn't like it after 2 weeks and he had to trade it in on the BMW. I'd like to keep this from happening again.

I had a BMW 530i for some time, but I never drove it, it just sat in the garage, so I posted it and sold it on ebay. Just b/c I had one did not qualify me as richie-rich though. I bought it b/c all of my friends had one and I wanted to fit in.:jump:

No you were going out of your way to insult people here. It wasn't even thinly veiled, it was outright and we all know it. No one buys your snivelling "I was just asking" tripe. If you had asked in a more humble, less arrogant way, people here would have been more than happy to help you. But you have poisoned the well and now no one here would lift a finger to help you. We just want you to leave.

Whats the point of being humble? Newbies get thrown to the bottom of the list and have to ask permission to speak to the H2 Masters?

I just stat the fact add just be me,,,take or leave.

that newbie isnt like that around here, since day 1 i was welcomed and many others were welcome, unless they did something that would make them unwelcome :raar:

and jsut becuase im going to disregard the followup posts and just look at the first one the H2 can do much of the things the other vehicles can do only when theyre lifted so a stock h2= modified other SUV

Well You've gone and done it. I'm leaving. I went over to the LandRover's forum. Hopefully I'm a little better liked over there. It seems that they don't like Hummers either.

http://www.landroverforums.com/m_7971/tm.htm

I was all set to buy a H2, its too bad that you guys represent the community like this. I hope you can all sleep better at night, knowing you chased away a potential consumer.

You could have had 1 more person in your little group had you just been a little nicer to me.
