J, I think you have way too much time on your hands right now to think of way too many negative possibilities. Try to spend this time on how you want to spend your future and make positive changes once you are done.

Dont let this situation get the best of you, stay strong and stay realistic about everything. It will all work out and be just fine. You will see.

You have a lot of time to think and reflect, dont forget to reflect on the good things. People miss you and admire you for what you are doing. Dont forget this.

You are not the first Serviceman to be deployed.......that posts on this forum. I know how it feels myself. You do sound like you have the market cornered on self pity and immaturity though.

Stop feeling so sorry for yourself, and blaming your wife and everyone else including this place for your situation. You are embarrassing yourself and the US Air Force Nurse Corps, and the US Military in general. You are a Commissioned Officer for crying out loud, start acting like it.

Are all the people that have wished you "good Luck" here.....the same ones you were referring to above?

If you can't see that you are making a gigantic fool out of yourself, and displaying your insecurity and lack of confidence for all to see........then you're weaker mentally than I even thought you were.

There are many over there that have it worse than you.......being in the medical field yourself......you shouldn't have to look to hard to find them. Kill the pity party you're holding for yourself and get to work helping those hurt kids that work the forward areas.

I'd really like to see Jamie and Jinsey handle this PERSONAL and PRIVATE marital problem on their own, by phone, through e-mail, or with the help of family or counselors. Initially, I think most were shocked that this had come up on the forum, but it is more serious than that and should be handled by the two having the problem. Jamie, you need to find a way to talk or work this out with your wife in a private setting. People who use parts of this forum for 'entertainment' reasons will only antagonize you and make things worse. For example, who in the world is "Hummermebaby"? Obviously it's someone you or your wife knows. That person spews anger and hatred, whoever he/she is. I think most of us would love to have you back on the forum for what you had contributed in the past regarding your experience and thoughts on the Hummer, or, lighthearted joking. You must see so much heartbreak where you are now ... don't compound it for yourself with domestic issues. Get back here safely and get into a more positive mindset. Life will get back to more normalcy once you do.
