I think that RuggedH2 would love to take you up on that offer. As for me, Dan Clawson stated that if I sent him 1 of the extra right flairs I received by mistake he would send me back the correct left flair for no charge. I will wait to see if Dan follows thru with what he said. :popcorn:
Jason your customer service is over and beyond incredible for what you did. Only if 1/gizzillionth of your CS skills could rub off on Dan, E&G Classic customers would be much happier.

The question in my mind is from what Dan posted here.

If the dealer cost without profit for themselves is $141.23......... How in the world can customers get a replacement flare for "around $100.00". Most dealers are not going to lose 40+ bucks on each flare.

If Dan himself posted that........ it looks like he was lying. With a dealer markup (standard business) that makes it closer to $200.00 each. That was along the lines of what my original dealer thought.

When many of us got these flares we had no idea that the replacement cost for a broken one would be anywhere near were it is.

This thread has shown those looking to buy these flares what they can expect...... and that is more than those of us that bought them had.

Dan hasn't budged at all.

Jason is the one that stepped up!

I have just received an email from Dan Clawson of E&G Classics. He is following thru with what he said and will replace the duplicate right side flair I received with the correct left side flair.
I really appreciate all the support I received on this forum. It's nice to know that H2 Source has your back!!:perfect10s:

Event though I don't like the way Dan handeled this situation in the beginning he ended up doing the right thing. Anyone can have a bad day so hopefully thats all this was.

I sent back the duplicate passenger side flair to E&G ATTN: Dan just a few days ago and have already received the correct drivers side replacement back from them. Dan followed through with his promise to correct the problem and everything on my end is how it should be. :)
Next, I hope this thread awakened E&G Classics/Dan to the problem of overly high priced replacement flairs and hopefully they can come up with better pricing for us if/when the flairs get damaged.
I would like to thank everyone for the support showed on this thread and just goes to show that if anything happens, the guys and gals on this forum can help problems get solved :clapping: :perfect10s: :clapping:

Wow, I didn't read this thread before. When I read the title, I thought it was for the "stock" flare replacement.

I'm getting all my parts together to start my build.... obviously, the E&G flares were on the list.

I'm glad NJH2 got everything resolved but I sure as hell wasn't going to order anything from any company that has employees with the kind of customer service that has been posted.
