That whole mirror looks as though it was re-designed. I wonder if it had improved for the vibration issues.??? I like the mirror!
I wonder if I can swap them out and put them on mine? Have to paint the chrome though.

I like that they are making improvements, certainly. But If the mirror just had a piece of chrome instead of the logo, it would look high-class. As it stands, it just looks cheesy.

It's the new Supercharger they're having as an option on the 2006. Just kidding.

Those are like the assist steps, brush guards, basically anything that's ordered from the factory that they don't want to put on the truck for shipment.

So, what happens if you don't get the bling package. Wonder what THAT mirror looks like.

That mirror is replacing the chrome mirror cap that was in the Chrome Appearance Package. As far as I know, without the Chrome Appearance Package the mirror would just be solid black.

The Chrome Appearance Package is included in the Lux/1SC package. Having seen it in person, I think it would look awesome on a black truck if you took the inserts off and had them powder coated black.

Soooo, they changed the mirror cap and the warranty. Wow. I like the mirror cap, but that's all they came up with for the new model year? I think GM needs to hire a woman engineer. They need help, time for a pro.

I can't stand options like: Here's your choice of interiors; black and dull grey errr I mean wheat. Here's your new NAV system that can't play a CD at the same time you're trying to Navigate; and by the way, everwhere you want to be ain't on it. The damn thing ought to have a button for every potty break on the road. It should also be programmed to list good shopping places first and follow it with the best places to stop for an after shopping toddy. I think the new mirrors would look really good with the chrome piece, but without the embossed H2 logo. Wonder how expensive it would be to have someone make you a few?

If it has the "caddy" warranty now 4yr/50k does it come with the upgraded onstar package for one year free now too??

You're right. I think all Pewters look better with chrome all over them. It brightens up that drab grey. That's all it is, right, just grey.

Noticed, king Pewter, Phil, has added chrome. They just should all have chrome.

The chrome attracts the urban market. Seems, no one is buying the marketing of the Hummer Tahoe as an "off-road" vehicle. Poor product design catches up with you.

Hey, at least they didn't put the freakin' GM badge on the mirrors too.

I don't like them. Gonna be a PIA to get mud out of those crevices.
