I talked with "Steve", the owner of the All American 4 wheel drive shop (Lakewood), today and he said the "Sovereign Trail" is a cool single track trail for MTB or motorized bikes. Anyone ever heard of that? He said it's north of Moab on 191 - near a Shell station.

Hey guys doing the 2 wheel thing. I am a little skerred to try to go with biking with you guys, cause I'm out of shape (kinda rounder). I don't want to slow you down or die trying, iif you guys are in great shape and Mountain Bike regularly. :crying: Let me know what you think, K?

I just haven't figured out how to make time ride (hard) since I started having kids.:violin:

Don;t worry. I was out of shap last year. CoHUMMER would just ride up ahead and than come back. He is in great shape!:fdance:

I am way out of shape this year. So no worries about "keeping up."

I hope to bring the bikes this time, but not sure. I'll know more as we get closer. I already tuned mine, so they're ready to go. We'll see.

Well, I would be up for a little two-wheelin' if I know it's for fun...

I'll see if I have extra room for the bike. So who's ridin' what? I have a alum. framed hardtail with lots of miles but still gets the job done.

Yeti 575. Nothing better than that!

I'm am going to bike a lot. Last trip I went every morning before guys like Adam got out of bed. I normally rode from the Gonzo up to the Slick Rock trail - did the practice loop, then rode back home. That took me about an hour or so.

The Slick Rock trail (full version) is a must. It's really not that difficult if you simply walk the tough climbs. The slickrock on bike tires is just like with your your rig - you have unbelievable grip, so the decents are easy.

If you're into MTB at all, you'll be sorry if you don't bring your bike. You see guys riding all over the place and it's a blast.

Oh, and I don't mind riding slow if you some of you weekend warriors want to go. I'll probably do a few hard core rides, but not everything.

Would like to do a MOAB run in June during first two weeks. Any one organizing one? I will be driving in from Miami, FL - if there are any other Elcovans out here, maybe we could caravan.

I'm at the Gonzo with the all the coolest people. :)

Whether you stay at the Gonzo or not, the beer parties in the parking lot are free admission and Rox will bring enough beer for all of us for the week. :D

Um, we can leave whenever we want. You're the one who's bound by the good book (or something). We are merely being nice and waiting for you.
