Personnaly i consider ANY car/truck 4wd if the transfercase contains a 4-lo. This is the defination that 4-wheel and off-road uses in their 4x4 of the year award, seems to make sense.

how does the zr2 perform?
I've only seen one offroad, and it didn't do too bad... the frame just sat a bit low... http://www.eng.ysu.edu/~melliott/hobbies.htm |
I only have 4000 miles on it. I did take it elk hunting this year and it did well on the muddy roads and handled the bull elk my son harvested just fine. With the H2 in the stable I don't think I'll do much serious off-roading with the ZR2.

58 Willys wagon 67 Bronco 89 Sidekick 04 Rubi Most everything else I have owned has either been muscle cars and Cycles I won't attempt to make a list, I would be here all night. |
My first was an 82 Subaru GL wagon! Rocking hand me down from my parants!
Then I was off to street cars and bikes! My winter rigs came up to being a 87 Wrangler, 87 S-10, and then went on to cars again, only to move onto a 00 Jetta GLX, then a 02 GMC Z-71, 03 Tacome Double cab, and now the H2! |
