I really like the Desert, I think it's absolutely beautiful, and I remember how surprised I was at some of the trail difficulty when I was down there last Spring. (and I found those trails by chance) I also got lucky and hit the Southwest during the 100 year bloom. It was really a site to see. [/quote]


I've got some pictures somewhere of the trails around here last year - OMG. If there was a movie filmed in that incredible floral setting, no one would have believed it was real!

Rocks, if you wanna do a great desert run, and have the time and desire, I would happily guide you and any friends that might want to come along from the Colorado River at Laughlin Nevada to Barstow California on an incredible and historic old stagecoach route. It's a three day trip - and desert like you've never seen it! PM me if you're interested.
