no idea on actual rim size, i'd have to ask les schwaab. i just wanted to get rid of the chrome diamos that were on it when i bought it, and go back to 17" from 18"

LOL

Very nice rig rodster. Did you turn up the torsion bars? Cause it doesn't appear you did. Rubbing issues?

Thanks. Still have fender flares in the garage to mount so that'll help the look.

I haven't done the torsion bars (yet). The tires have a whopping 4 miles on 'em so not sure what kind of rubbing issues will surface. The trailing, outboard edges of the front tires do rub on the plastic fender liner but I'm not too concerned about that.

hey drty shoot me a pm.. i wanted to know if you wanted to drop any of your 37's i think i need a set for this winter.. time to upgrade from the at's.. hope all is well.. hit me up

Just called my dealer for the 35X12.50X17's...he wanted 347.95 each, but I had to pay shipping too...so it would be about $400.00 bucks per tire.

$1,600 bucks for a set of tires just seems high.

Doc,
I ran out to Brown's Camp last week and tried them out on Hog's Back. Usually I need to reposition once when going up HB, but with the Toyos I walked right up and never even slipped a tire. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Any Post-Moab update on the Toyos? Would you buy the Toyos over the GY-MTRs if you didn't have either?

I just put the 37x13.50's on mine. Stock rims, no lift. They rub a little on the sway bars in a lock to lock turn but that's about it. Haven't done any hard wheelin yet, so I don't really know what they'll do. They sure look good though. Almost bought the MTR's but couldn't get any cause of the strike. Went to Les Shwaub also. Love the Toyo's. Quiet and ride nice. Had to get a Hypertech programmer though cause I lost a **** load of power from a dead stop but reprogramming to OEM computer took care of that. :jump:

post some pics:beerchug:

I still am trying to decide between the toyos and the BFG's in the 37's. The 13.50 in the toyos scares me a little because of the rubbing and I do some pretty rough trails.

Here's a picture of the Toyos after I had them siped. They're great on packed snow & ice now.

Wasn't the factory siping ok on snow/ice? Alot of mud tires aren't siped at all so I figured the Toyo's would be good in the snow just the way they come.

The factory siping was unsatisfactory IMO. I like having my tires done by Les Schwab Tires.
