You took them out of the packages???? They just dropped in value!! Just like driving the real thing off the lot.

I got my set today. I think I'll order another to give to the kids to play with, and keep a set to see how much they will appreciate. You just never know.....

All of the McDonalds near us (at which we have Hummers on display) are saying that no one wants the Polly Pockets, everyone's going for the Hummer. 42 million Hummers will be distributed.

There will be a secret 9th Hummer in September. Those in the business know what it is, and it's pretty badass looking. It's an H2 with a little diesel engine in it. Or maybe not, maybe it's something else. But it's the best looking of all of them I think. You'll have to bring all 8 Hummers to your local dealer to pick up the 9th one.

Do they have new ones every week? I just stopped by mcd' to get a different one, thinking it'd be different for this week...but they gave me another H1.... :(

Some McD's feel like they have to go through a box of #1's before going to #2, etc.. You must be visiting a low volume McD's if they still have the #1 Hummer! I called our local McD's and asked for the manager. I told him I have a Hummer and would like to just buy a set. He was great. He told me to come in and he'd go through the boxes to get me the set. I went in, bought the first 6, and paid $1.00 plus tax per Hummer. #7 & #8 will be in tomorrow's truck shipment. He told me to come by after 2pm. Hold onto your duplicate (unopened) and trade it for one you don't have yet when the others come in.

Well....even though I already precured a set via Ebay. I decided to get one today via the "old fashioned" way!:D ;) Yeah sure, I will take a double cheese burger happy meal...Why can't they do a double quarter pounder happy meal?:eek:

You guys are crazy buying happy meals and paying for them at mcd. I just went and got a value meal, and the girl gave me an h3 with my change. :D

As for that article -- Someone needs to write an article about how environmentalists are trying to take away peoples childhoods by trying to censor their toys this extremely. Kids play with those 5 gallons to the mile tonka dump trucks, do they have a problem with that?! What about toy space shuttles?! :eek:


I can guarantee kids don't affiliate their toy trucks with our oil supply, they aren't quite that crazy. "Gas is $4/gal today, let's leave our toy hummers inside and run over stuff in our prius'! yeah!"
