Re: FCUKING PISSED
I told him I have been burned in the past buying stuff online so I would like to see the unit in action before I commit to buying it. If he lets me come over like I am hoping I will try to get a look at both S/N's.

Re: FCUKING PISSED
Yeah I saw that. Definately not mine. What can I say...I am a conspiracy theorist when it comes to my personal possesions (especially considering how much time I spend playing PS3). Still doesn't mean the other one they have isn't mine, but oh well.
BTW...thanks again to everyone. Even if I don't track down the ******* who stole it I really do appreciate all the help you guys have been. |
Re: FCUKING PISSED
Do you think you could get one of the guys to go act like a prospective buyer and get a look at the other one? They could always swab it for your "DNA".:giggling: Don't worry, it'll turn up sooner or later.

Re: FCUKING PISSED
Hey Shaggy,
I don't want to sound bad, but where was it you live again? Unless your in some po dunk town. There is always a detective somewhere around on weekends. Also, I don't have the game and am not sure of the value, but wouldn't it still be a Grand theft charge? Whomever it was that answered the phone at the police was just trying to get you to go away. Even if that isn't your ser# and if you think the other one they have may be yours, still go to the police and keep asking for thier help. Keep going over heads to get what you want. You may be right in your thoughts. I know even here in our small dep't we have 2 detectives on call. And one handling all zones. I hope somehow you get it back... The top thing on my hate list is people stealing other people's shiate. Good Luck! |
Re: FCUKING PISSED
Sorry to hear about that Shaggy, that really sucks
Hope you find out more about the roommate's friend. |
Re: FCUKING PISSED
Any idea why he's got the receipt pictured next to the unit? Odd that he kept the recieipt but not the box. His picture sucks too - I wouldn't trust this guy....For as much as he's asking, he should've provided a better pic.

Re: FCUKING PISSED
I told you to lock the doors. I remember the little hoods in your neighborhood running the Punk 500 around the block. They had probably stolen someone's PS2 that day.

Re: FCUKING PISSED
Dude your PS3 isn't gonna be on ****ing ebay........:beerchug:
Check craigslist and places like that...........If I had taken it I'd sell it on craigslist. Local, fast, no paper or e traces...........NO ebay to deal with. Just post a add that costs nothing, and that PS3 would have sold in hours................. I'd say 99.9% for sure you know who did it. Any other criminal would have at least taken a look around at everything else you had......Find your friend or roomates friend and go from there bro........ |

Re: FCUKING PISSED
Not the roommate...or the roommate's friend. All signs point to the neighbor kids across the street right now. It is the only house in a 2 or 3 block radius that has anyone between 10 and 30 years old...other then mine. And they knew about the PS3...and knew the house was empty at the time. Still too conincidental for the cops to care though.

thats simple then man. Take 25 bucks and find one of the kids they hang out with. Ask them if they know ANYTHING.............. if they are young enough you might get one of the neighborhood kids to tell you or rat out one of the others for some green cash...... I had some kids take my GT mountain bike about a year ago. I knew one of the punk ass kids in the neighborhood took it. I went out one day when like 10 of these kids were hanging out. I said to them "Ok, I'll give any of you guys $50 bucks cash to come and tell me where my bike is or who took it. I promised them I wouldn't let anyone know who told me. The next day there was a knock on the door and one of the kids came by, showed Bonnie where they had my bike hidden in the creek, who took it, and collected his $50 bucks. The next day..........he was out there playing with the kid who he prob took my bike with...........:jump: I couldn't of replaced my derailures for that............ |

Re: FCUKING PISSED
I just posted on craigslist also Shaggy. If I get anything worth looking at I'll forward the emails to you!
"I am looking to buy a used PS3 for my son's birthday. It is coming up in two days and I'd really like to find one with one or two controllers, and maybe even a game or two to suprise him with. Thought I'd check here before going out and buying a new one.... Also, NO PS2's please......he already has one. Thank you!" |
Re: FCUKING PISSED
It's most likely someone you know- like the roommate's friend. Was there forced entry? Everytime I've had something stolen, it was one of those "friend of a friend" situations.
That's one of the things that sucks about roommates, you can hang around with the right kind of people, but you can't control the kind they hang around with. Before you spend a lot of time trying to find the PS3 being resold, I'd get with your roommate and knock on that guy's door. |
Re: FCUKING PISSED
I know its not dennis. He's too busy getting WIIbagged:giggling:
