Re: R.I.P.

the unfair advantage come from tree-hugging advocates that swear by their no-shower philosophy and stick with a beat-up VW van. I love those vans, however, if choosing a vehicle to protect yourself from those that bought their licensed, probably that same tree-hugger, the h2 is pratically unaffected by most things you would encounter. Just the other day their was an accident where a m. carlo hit a light post. The car was GONE! Not something you want to take a chance on when your little-ones.

Also, those comments are probably boasted by the same people who say that a h2 is nothing more than a tahoe with a h2 shell.

Yee Haa. I got another H2 this morning. :dancingbanana: I ended up getting an 04 with the adventure package. It is the same color (pewter) as before. The only difference is this one doesn't have a sunroof. I ended up buying this from the same dealership I purchased my last one from. I'll tell you one thing; it was creepy as hell driving off the lot. This was the first time I had really driven since the accident. Well I just glad I found another one this soon!

I ended up getting a little over 34k, minus my deductable. That includes a refund of tax which is 3.3% for cars out here. I had 72,100 miles on it. I was able to keep all of my old useable parts. The only add-ons that really were it bad shape that I left was my light bar :crying:, brush guard, smoked drls, and my smoked markers. The SMA rack actually wasn't too bad so I think I am going to go and have it Rhino-Lined to hide the dents. The wheels and tires held up like a champ:perfect10s: All in All I was fine with Progressive's payout. I was just happy to find another car so fast.

I'll tell you this forum has made it so much easier to cope with everything that happened. Most of my friends out here don't understand how important my car was to me. It has been great to hear from other people that have the same passion for Hummers as I do.

The search for my new car is a slow one! Everyone I look at is either over priced or not the right color. I am trying to find a Black or Pewter one. I will keep you guys informed with what I find and get some feedback. Anyways I just wanted to say "Thanks" to everyone and God Bless........

Desert Sand is the coolest and probably the rarest non limited edition color. Sage green may take that title now that I think about it.

Little over 34k.....thats DAMN good with 72k miles. Probably almost covered cost of the 04.:beerchug:

Considering what happened it all turned out pretty good for you. Did you buy certified with the 100k mileage???

It covered the new truck and some of the warranty. I purchased it from a used car dealer so I couldn't get the certified GM warranty. I got a warranty from Ultimate wich covers it for an additional 3 years 45k miles. I had them before. They are a pain in the butt but they always end up paying the claims.
