Also, that 75 mm short barreled gun on the Sherman could not penetrate the armor of a Panther, Tiger, or sometimes even the Mk IV. If we had had more of these Pershings earlier, the war would went a lot easier for us in France IMO (they were first used in Europe at Remagen and, by then, the war was pretty much over):

Tanks are cool and all. I just can't have any respect for tracked vehicles, they all easily disabled by a little COMM wire ( losely holds the coil together), about 10 to 15ft coil of Constantina wire, some strategically placed tumble weeds and sand. What got a very pissed off tanker or track driver. A word of caution kids don't hang to see your handy work, the gun turret will still be very functional. This is a good time to deploy AT-4, SMAW, Dragon or just rain on those hoes with some close air support or Artie. Ah I miss those days:crying:

The Russians did not care about the looks the mechanics in general theyy were built very crude,,,all they were bothered about was that the cnnons worked full stop simple but very effective

I was just giving a quick lesson on how to make a Tank or tracked vehicle throw a track. No doubt the gun is still dangerous, but a stopped tank is a dead tank.

Re: Garage space

thats true in some respects but russia played the numbers game mass production hence how crude they looked ie made by genral workers turret castings were bad
