Sweeeeet ride Tim. You certainly have a vision for mods.

DDWH 12-12-2005 12:23 AM

Tim, your rig turned out BADA$$! Can't wait to see it with the GOBI and new brush guard.

RazM 12-12-2005 03:01 AM

Very nice rig, gonna eat up the trails

What's your opinion of the H3 after owning an SUT?

Boss Hoss 12-12-2005 04:13 AM

Sweet looking H3...why did you go from h2 to h3? How do you like your tires? If you get a chance to test them out let me know how they perform, as i still havent been able to really get mine offroad. For some reason pictures dont do those tires justice....they are much cooler looking in person.

I like the H3. VS the H2? apples to oranges.

The H2 is a fullsize luxury ride. The H2 is a midsize lux ride. They ride very different.

the weight is very noticable IMO. The H2 feels like it had more HP when accelerating form 50 and higher, but from a stop, the H3 seems to have more off the line until it shifts.

Other than that, no regrets do far.
Thanks,
Tim.

You lied and told me you were doing chrome </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

There may be a change yet. 4WP has to drop the torsion bars back down and will require a diffent offset on the rim. So, there mey be a different rim yet. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

So, I went to 4WP today and they dropped the T Barrs back to where they should be, FE alignment, and tire balance. GOOD TO GO!

Rides like stock, only taller and stiffer in the corners.

VERY NICE!!! I think that's the blurriest pic i have ever seen...

Tim the truck looks awesome! Love the rims, There is a company that makes wider fender flares except they come in carbon fiber, I am actualy about to put them on mine, I will get the name for you if you are interested. By the the Ranco lift looks great! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Who makes the flares? I would like to get some on there ASAP! Thanks,
Tim.

Tim -

Has the SMA brush guard shown up yet? I'd love to see it in comparison to the stock guard on Keira's H3.

Kiraco 12-14-2005 01:46 PM

Ipedog-
I will try to remember when I get home tonight to take a picture of our H3's next to each other. Tim's truck looks awesome!

Kira

NICE. Reminds me of a Rottweiller. Have you had problems (discussed elsewhere on the forum) with paint spots after exposure to mud? How the heck do you go out in the desert in a black vehicle? Did you do the Rancho by yourself or had the shop do it? Why? (A friend of mine offered to help me mod mine but I saw the number of parts and could only think of the time I spent doing model airplanes as a kid...wait there's a part missing...so am considering having a shop do it.) What were your choices for tires besides the ProComp X-tremes? Thanks.

After my MT's on my SUT and a couple of ice/ snow storms I decided to go with an AT tire.

Ahhh soooo, Rancho does not offer a warranty on the voided GM parts... Good thing I asked before I did the installing myself. Thanks.

Good job Timbo. I must not visit the H3 section often enough, because I didn't realize you had a new 3.

Now, when are you going to do Kira's.

PARAGON 12-14-2005 07:33 PM

Only here to help.

Kiraco 12-14-2005 09:41 PM

Is there a reason Tim needed 2 more inches than you?
