Hey Neocon1,

No, I did not call a bitch. I said " It looks bitchin". Sorry for all the confusion. I know "Timgco" though the same thing. Meeting in Thousand Oaks is good location. How much driving from there to the park??

BABHUMV 01-01-2006 03:01 PM

I understood the bitchin' part.

According to mapping software, 259 miles from my house in Santa Barbara to Ranger Station. Over Christmas I traveled it in about 3.5 hours. 74mph average.

As for two days, not sure yet.

YES! This I want to see! Thats what I am planning on doing. I think KenP said he put two layers of the hummer letters on under the line-x. I'll try to find the thread. Its got pics of the end result.

Ipedog 02-16-2006 03:15 PM

Are the letters painted, DIY? How well do they stick to the line-x?

DarthKarl 02-16-2006 11:42 PM

WOW...nice!!! I like.

That looks really sweet!

mudderducker 02-17-2006 12:04 AM

Thanks! no, they aren't painted, just a matte black plastic, maybe a hair shy of 1/8" thick. got them off ebay for $10. I used super glue gel to stick them on, I don't think they're going anywhere.
