I shot about 100 pictures yesterday trying to get just the right composition for the Hummer Team magazine. I'll be going back today and tomorrow to get others. If anyone has a specific shot request, let me know adn I will try to get it for you and post it. I have some shots as well of the H2 limo inside and out as well as a supertuned Black H2 with a polished Whipple Supercharger and air raid intake. Also several custom H2's with paint and chrome and audio video accessories.

Are the tires on the SUT BFG's bajas or is this a new flavor of BFG's

Hi All,
Curious ... is the SUT equipped with OnStar ??? Cannot tell if there are buttons on the dash ... OnStar has been great for me ... Thanx, Michael --- Pewter Hummer H2 Northern California www.zootsuitstore.com ------------------------------------ |
SUPER NICE PHOTOS! I am studying the details. Thanks very much.

Hummerman, there are no Onstar buttons in the SUT, but in talking with the Hummer rep that accompanied the SUT, he says that all H2's and their variants (read SUT) will have OnStar as standard equipment.

Thanks MAC, I took a few more today and will take a bunch more tomorrow before it leaves. We will try to get some outside in a more natural setting before they pack it up to leave.

I was talking to the SUT rep, asking about the bar lights. He says they are a Hummer concept item, and should be available at some point, but did not know if they are available now.
The ones on the SUT are functional, but will melt if left on too long! The night vision is functional, and feeds to the LCD screen in the console. The console is purely concept, I am told. Also, he told me the hood would warp/melt if the engine ran for very long. Trav http://www.HummerTeam.com Travis - North Texas |
Any chance they'll offer a removable rear section?

The guy had no real production information on the SUT except that it is still targeted for release mid/late summer 2004 as a 2005 model. The SUT concept didn't look like it had anything to attach a roof to except the rails that held the roof rack bars. I don't think that would be strong enough to hold a removable rear top.

some other shots that might be of interest. We took the SUT outside the dealership and had it back up on the rock display. It had one heck of time getting up there because the tires slipped badly and spun and smoked. These were prototype tires with no markings except that they were BF Goodrich.

To let you folks know how concept this vehicle is and not in production dress. It ran out of gas moving it off those rocks. Come to find out it has only a two gallon gas tank. You were wondering where the spare would go (tenatively currently thought to go on a rear carrier behind the tailgate). I wnat to know where they will put the full 32 gallon gas tank.
There wasn't a lot of romm left under there. |

This one big trailer all to itself. In talking with the handlers, this may have been it's last public appearance before the design is released into production. I felt really lucky since I got over 300 pictures of it while it was at Classic.

All excellent photos. Thanks for the pics. Every little bit helps the wait!

You are welcome. I have gotten so excited by seeing it in person, I have my name number one on the list when they arrive. Good news is that they don't want a deposit or anything. I took these shots of the Grand Opening for the General Manager and owner of the dealership and they said they'd do this for me in return. It's all I asked for from them, I didn't charge them for my time.

The thing left to know, is will it fit in my garage along side my H2.
