Some poor, nearly drowned ATV/Bike guys. They stopped to take pictures of us too!

Big drop!

Is that BigFoot hiding behind that tree?

BTW: That's the stump on my driver's side I caught on my rocker - mostly because I tried to go down at grandma-like speed - i.e., 0.00001 mph. I should have hit it a little coming over the ledge. Or maybe subconsciously, I wanted to use my winch.

Yeah, it was weird. That giant magic gnome kept appearing out of nowhere and leading me through difficult obstacles with his philosophical and spiritual reflections on the concepts of brake-throttle modulation, gear selection, and tire placement. Then, on Sunday morning, he just rode off to the horizon.

Great pics! Keep em coming!

It was awesome. Several thing made it better for me than I could have hoped:
* One dry, dusty day - one day of driving in the 37 degree monsoon;
* Awesome spotting by Ipedog, OldHiker, Nmikes, Joe, Scott, and Larson;
* Scott's detailed knowledge of the trials, where to go, and when to go there.
* Extremely good company; and
* All you can eat prime rib, crab legs, good booze, etc on Friday night.
I just care about the food. Where was that? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Can't recall the name. Someone else may know. Scott was a regular there. It's on the other side of Paragon from Hazleton. I asked the waitress what kind of decent wine they had. She said, "well, we have some white, and I think something red." Right before I aborted and ordered something else, the owner brought out a really nice Italian Chianti. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

The Restaurant is called Oak Creek. It is located about 6 miles West of PAP on Rt 924.

Based on your knowledge of the restaurant name and your forum name, I figured that you were the magic spotting, trail-guiding gnome.

Ipedog 04-25-2006 05:40 PM

I recognise that name!

Gnome? What gnome?
