Looks like on of the sections at Reiter out on HWY 2 in Washington. Fun, no question, but it's one of the few times I'd actually say it looks harder than it is. :)

The size is misrepresented. When i purchased the tires the spec sheet on kumhousa.com showed 13.50 for the section width. I measured mine to be 12.50(under load), called Kumho an they say im an ignorant consumer who cannot possibly measure the section width of a tire. It has since changed to 12.50 so i guess it is represented accurately now. Their customer service is beyond horrible, they are frankly insulting. btw, i have both spec sheets showing the discrepancy.

That's ridiculous! With the internet, etc. you would think they would be smart and take responsibility for their misrepresentation.:lame:

Maybe they all just hate your arrogant prick-like attitude? BTW, I do like your g wagon. Beating on an $80k rig takes balls, without a doubt. Just don't be a prick and I bet more people would like you.

Alec, I forgot how perfect and tactful you are. Don't you have a Jeep now? Why bother with our silly Hummer forums?

Oh and one more just for you. We OWNED slickrock!

:jump:Indeed you did. Indeed you did.:jump::beerchug:

You must forgive Alec in regards to his wheeling. He blames ALL the bad things that have happened to his H2 on everyone else when all along it's his inability to wheel.:D He's a point and shoot wheeler. Kind of like a 5 year old.:OWNED:

Anyone can wheel a Jeep. But it takes a certain kind of person and talent to wheel a monster like the H2 and do it better without any drama.

That is why he is going back to the Jeep. That's the smartest and most sober decision he's made in years.:OWNED:

Hello from Russia!
I see that you have a good option to get some fun! Really great pictures and great trip was done! :perfect10s:
Here, in Russia, we have other way to get fun. Less mountains but more forests, rivers and mud.

I've got a question - why almost all H2 pasted by scotch tape? With different colours - blue, brown, white.

Well, Tellico was closed by the USFS and no one knows whether it will be reopened. It would be a shame as it is probably the best public place to wheel in the east.

There are some private parks in the SE that are pretty good though and I am always up for going on a wheeling trip. If you want to go sometime, let me know and we'll try to get a crew together.

That's too bad. So now Paragon and Tellico are closed. What else is there?

Tellico is currently closed for winter, but this is the same as last year--no changes here and it will reopen on April 1st. However, when Tellico opens in April, some of the best trails are closed for a 1year"trial" period. While there will be many trails open, trail 7, 9(slickrock), part of trail 8, and lower 2 will be closed for this trial period.

Im guessing the 1yr "trial" will be permanent and since the environmentalist got there foot in the door the next step will be full closure of Tellico.

Other than Tellico there are a few spots (Gray Rock, Morris Mountain, Superlift , Windrock and Gulches) that come to my mind but we have yet to run those--will be fun exploring new territory. Morirs Mountain is on my hit list for sure.

good job! i havent been in 5-6 years, Is the big bolder in the center of the trail at the top? If so how the heck did you get over / around it.

Last time i was there granted it was 5-6 years ago. if you made to the top it was almost impossiable to get past that freaking bolder.

The big ledge at the top of the trail is longer there...most winch to get over it.

Man this looks like fun. I miss it. When I logged in today, the forum said I have not logged in since May 13th of 2006. I thought I'd check in to see how things have been.

Good to see some of the old guys still chiming in and some members still going off road and not just adding chrome or blacking it out. I remember when this forum was only about wheeling and proving to "the pickup" crowd an H2 could hang. I just found out Paragon was booted off also. Things sure have changed.

Keep getting dirty fellas.

What was used for scratch protection? It looks like masking tape and plastic or something? Does that work pretty well? That looks like an awesome spot!

The lowest I'm comfortable with without beadlock is 25 psi.
