Well, I'll certainly pass on the ass kissing part. And I believe that the first amendment gives you the right to complain all you like, so feel free. I was just advocating a more constructive, productive approach. And you are right, I must be very stupid and naive because I absolutely think one person can make a huge difference, Who is ducking responsibility now? Did Christ or Buddha or Gandhi or Nelson Mandela or Robert Oppenheimer or Einstein change the course of human history? Absolutely!

Are we? I have no clue and it does not change anything one way or the other. THis conversation is not blaming one race or the other. It is just stating facts. What GD part of that do you not understand? Are we ones that blame the white guy for pointing out something obvious and backed up by facts just because it is not racially pc? IF so then blame me for all of the crime and the way it falls racially. I am the bad guy. I kill people with my words that are not outlandish, just PC not to your liking. BUT IT IS A FACT WHICH SHOULD NOT BE IGNORED NOR DEFLECTED BECAUSE WHITEY MAD THE COMMENT. THERE ARE FEWER BY FAR WHITE VIOLENT CRIMINALS IN THE PRISON SYSTEMS WHEN WHITES MAKE UP 75% OF THE POPULATION. What is to be done to help other races not commit violent crimes? I do not freaking know. BUT, my point is valid and I have given no reasoning to make me out to be a prejudice person. I did not say All Blacks or Mexicans are bad. I just said that Black and Mexican Criminals are responsible for most of the violent crimes in the US.

My whole thoughts on the Blacks and Mexicans is they need new leadership not chasing down the civil rights violators looking to get paid. Like Martin Luther Da King preached for equality and peace the leadership now has not evolved. Now they need leadership for creating jobs and values. I could be that leader. 2 problems,
#1 I have no cred to speak to the gang bangers and dealers (which the new leadership needs or they will be ignored)
#2 I am White. (Which means the new leadership should be black)

If you do not like me Tower, I am sorry. I am not a bad person. Just pointing out an obvious problem with society. Yes this said something different before being edited. I was just posting by the seat of my pants. If the facts are disturbing to you, don't gripe at the messenger.

Badace, another faulty conclusion. If I truly did not like you, I promise you, I would not waste my time engaging in dialogue with you. I simply disagree with many of your conclusions. So you have pointed out the preponderance of minorities among criminals. And you have vented about it. So now what? If that was your sole purpose, then you have succeeded. Now what? If you truly are not advocating eradication of these people, what does "take them out of the equation" mean? "Take them out" and do exactly what with them? I am asking your thoughts, genuinely.

I believe I have said take them out of the equation. Take out there numbers. Where did I say take them out of the world. Are you serious? The Violent crime that is done is usually mnority on minority. It has nothing to do with me. I am just saying look at the reality.

I do believe I have been joking all the way through this trying to not let it get too serious. The only person bent out of shape is Tower. I have been quoting Ron Burgandy throughout. SO I try and let Tower cool down and all of the sudden I am an e-warrior. Tower tried to make me out to be a racist when I just pointed out a racial statistic in Regards to another senseless black on black crime. I backed every point I made up with statistical facts. Still it was twisted.

He's basically correct. If you statistically omit the 54% of the murders ocurring in the U.S. by a particular 12% segment of the population (blacks), the crime rates in the U.S. fall to one of the lowest in the world. That does not even omit other minority crime, which is also higher than the national average. It's a troubling reality. Asians with law degrees make more on the average than whites with a J.D. Whites make more than blacks. It's not because the law firms are all run by Asians. It's because Asians on average (exception = Dennis) have very solid teachings in the family about the value of being respectful and working hard. When I rarely used to go to the science, engineering, or main libraries at the the university I attended on a Friday or Saturday evening, the people there studying were primarily Asian, there were a few whites, and no blacks. Aside from intelligence and appearance (both of which are signifcant factors in predicting success), how you act and how you treat others is, IMO, hugely a factor of what values you learn in your family. Too many blacks kids need better families. Cosby's right on that one:

I totally agree and have been flabbergasted at the overall "minority" response to Bill Cosby versus they're response to Jackson/Sharpton.

It's easier to be a victim. (this could be repeated over and over)

And if it is indeed just "economics" then we need to find the reason why certain minority groups continue to have economic difficulty. Why do they continue to be economically challenged even through decades of government assistance/youth programs etc? Much more so than other groups historically.

My great great grandparents were immigrants and farmers. My grandfather was an artist and my grandmother played the organ at church- my father is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and has done well for himself.

Point being, many other 'groups" have pulled through to live the American dream, pursuing their own happiness and prospered.

Labeling yourrself/certain groups a victim or being illegal can certainly damper the ambition.

Finally, some common ground. MH and H2-CP, I agree completely that the solution to these difficult issues is better parenting. That being said, how can you get out of parents that which their parents never put in? (e.g. respect for self and others, reverence for education, moral values, etc.) How do we break this cycle? Blaming the kids won't do it. Blaming the parents won't do it. I think we kneed to educate parents. As I stated once on a very old thread, one needs a license to legally ride a bike on a city street or own a dog or drive a car, but practically any pair of fukking idiots can spawn a child (as long as their genders differ). No need to know anything about child rearing or anything else. I think that if most parents knew ahead of time how things that they did would affect their kids later in life, most would parent a lot better. We are the fortunate ones. We had role models that worked to our advantage. JMHO.
