So, it's looking like a little camping outside of town on the 8th. I have been talking about the WWR for many years now and it's time to stop talking. I think I will hit the trail Sat AM and get to the Gonzo Sun PM. We'll see.

I posted earlier in this thread that I was planning to go out on the White Rim Trail for 3 days and 2 nights. I want to take pictures and do the side trails. Need to reserve some campsites. PM me if I should include you and how many tents you are using. Planning on going out the 11th and returning 13th.

Pit toilets as far as I know.

This is a sightseeing trip.

WWR?:jump: White Wim Woad?

So you want to run it on the weekend? I'm not sure if Trent can get to Moab before Saturday evening. He's been really busy. I know he'd like to go and see you guys.

I think we can run it on the 8th and 9th and still be at the Gonzo on Sunday. Doubt the EJS goes on WWR anyway.

Just a head up, everyone....

Rocks has volunteered to cook us dinner each night. Pretty soon we'll need to put together a dinner menu and let her know.

How about a new thread on where everyone staying and local accomadations. It's a pain in the a@# searching thru 31 plus pages...

Would make it a little easier for fellow enthusiast to coordinate their plans.

The only problem with that is some of us have a lot of fans, secret admirers, etc. If I give out that information I'll probably create a riot-like scenario at my hotel.

Turns out that 80s heavy metal is pretty outdated. We thought we'd spice things up by adding a new guy who plays some rockin pirate jams.

At some point there will be a private thread for those that are FOR SURE going. We have never posted those details on the public forum due to those H8TERS out there.

Whever you stay/ camp in Moab, it's only about 15 minutes apart from one place to teh next anyhow.

Here's a link that can answer many of your questions.

For those that haven't beeb to Moab: You may want to also purchase the Guide to Moab, UT Backroads & 4-Wheel Drive Trails
By, Charles A Wells

Barnes & Noble have the book in stock in most stores. This will give you all kinds of info on the trails ahead of time.

Private threads are impossible to manage with the new forum PM messaging system. It's sucks for that.

We should probably make a public thread on it and then PM stuff at the end - like cell phone numbers, # of camos we're bringing, etc.

I plan to fill my military H2O jugs with Propel Water this time. Does anoyone have a prefered flavor?
