I really thank both all you guys for helping me figure these things out.

W1N,

When are you getting these babies in? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I do have everything now (tires and wheels), except the new truck which should be arriving right after new years and the black chromed OEM center caps. If you want I can try to post some pictures of the tires or wheels. They sure look intimidating.

TAKE A PIC AND POST IT!

I cannot wait to see them!!!!!

FYI The side of my family from Finland is: Ahonen (not sure if I have the spelling right...it was two generations ago.

Did you have rubbing with the 37" tires? I am thinking of going with 37" tires. You are not, or were not running a lift right?

thanks!

Sorry bro, I haven't got mine yet. I'm still debating between a couple sets of wheels. Plus I'm waiting till I get my resellers license beginning of the year. I plan on going with 37's on 20's though. Same amount of sidewall as stock but looks great. There's a ton of guys running this and everything I hear basically says yes they rub but not that much. That's fine by me.

Is there a specification for a 20" x 10" wheel that will not rub? What would the backspacing and offset be for these wheels to fit without rubbing?

VTSTOMPER 12-04-2005 07:57 PM

tomp,

What size tire are you planning on running?

tomp 12-05-2005 12:01 AM

I am planning on 20" rims with 35 tires. I am also keeping my stock wheels and putting BFG mud terrains on them for hunting season.

Not sure if I can get away with a 10" wide wheel, but it looks promising.

Yes, the wheel thread is back.

After seeing ROdsters rims with 4.5" offset with 37 12.50 18's, I am wondering what a 18X9 with a 4.75" offset will look like. Will this offset rub, stick out more or less? Anyone?
I have 35 12.50 18" BFG MT's. or do I need to go with a 4.5" offset at stock height?

Isn't that going to bring the inner wall toward the center of the vehicle by another 1/4"? Do you have that room?

BTW, WTF vehicle are you talking about?

H2- but just found out the 18 X 9 wheel has only one option for offset of 5". Is this close to stock? Or is this going "F" up the tire hitting the wheelwell or frame?
