Shut it newb. What makes you think wheelin and busting your junk for a few months elevates you to the ranks of the real vetrans here? Keep your e-drama to yourself and be quiet like you are when out on the trail. Leave the advice to the real pros.

x3 on the ban request!

Bebe is one of the best people on this forum. :) She is an active wheeler who is very aware of the impact we have on the environment and what is necessary to help preserve that environment for future generations on wheelers.

You, Donky Kong, are merely an AE for a coward. We don't need, or want you here. You bring the suck.

Where's Georgetown? I'll probably be down on Wednesday afternoon if we're hitting the trail on Thursday.

It's between Sac and South Lake Tahoe. Probably 45-60 mins to trailhead. Not sure exactly since I came in a different way. Bebe would know.

The black line from Loon Lake to 89 is the Rubicon.

Hey Rox, is it faster for me to drive through the middle of oregon or head to portland first? I think the map showed almost a 100 mile difference...but wasn't sure about the roads...

I can find out a time differential for you, but my advise would be to take 395 one way at least because it will be so much more scenic.:)

Definitely take 395 - it's a great little highway(not freeway) with tons of scenery.

My mapping software says 231-395-207-395-193
Not sure about the little jaunt on 207, so it's your call.

Ahhhh! I just saw this thread. I wanna go, but it's doesn't look too gewd. Don't know for sure yet. One option would be to fly out and rent an H2!?

Ok, so why does this thread keep disappearing??

So far, we're in! :) As long as we don't run into problems with the kids... :) What kind of room is there when camping? Don't know if I should bring two small tents rather than one large one?

Not sure what you're talking about regarding this thread "disappearing", but it's stickied now.
