Nah, it's all part of the fun. :D I will say that the stock tires kinda suck in the soft sand. I was even aired down to 14-15 PSI. The folks with the MT's faired much better. More of a paddle effect in the sand.

Why? So they can be hidden in obscurity on that snore-fest wannabe site? I used to go over to that site but finally gave up because:
1) The site never got updated.
2) The site never EVER got updated.
3) The site NEVER EVER EVER GOT UPDATED!!!!

I thought it was some kind of pseudo Hummer site set up by some kind of isolationist control freak that's a chronic whining crybaby with a swollen mangina. If that site's owner has issues with people posting pictures that they took with their own cameras on other sites then maybe he should issue his own cameras and make participants sign non-disclosure agreements before attending "his" events. What a self-centered control freak.

To everone else involved in this thread, your right Awesome Video. Thats what the thread was about. The trip. I thought this was the best Club trip ever. Lots of familys having a good time, Great wheeling, Good food, even prizes. Got to meet some new people and hook up with the NorCal Club people again. The night run was cool, Kinda spooky.

My truck is in the driveway, I picked it up a few days ago. Sadly, with the unfortunate turn if events today, I won't be attending the rubicon run or any future NorCal event.

Two people I consider good friends were disrespected today in a major way. People who loved NCHG and did much to support and grow the club.

Sad, I will miss some of you - including you. Good people. :(

Serious time for a deep breath. Really folks, it's kinda great to meet people from the forum face to face. The forum, the pictures, ALL the internet stuff, that's sweating the small stuff compared to actually going out and enjoying the Hummers together. It's really easy to type something but quite another matter to think about how you'll feel in a face to face later. I think a lot of people on the internet type stuff that they'd never in a million years say to someone across the dinner table at a Hummer Happening, ever. Perhaps if we all remember how much we enjoy the actual real life, we'd (me included believe me, I've gotten hot under the collar on the net) have a shock absorber of sorts on our net presence.

It's HARD to get people together and have a great time in today's busy world. I'm grateful for the effort that people put forth not only to plan these things but the other folks to drive all that way and show up. I appreciate it.

Most times, people that kick the snot out of each other on a forum will never meet each other face to face. Here, on this forum in particular, I think that's not the case! It'd be an awfully awkward situation to have to ask someone for help on the trail or eat dinner with them if you'd told them to ES&Die on the forum. It's a matter of picking your hills to die on. If it's important enough to you, well, I guess that's what it's all about. I'm writing this as much for myself to remember as anyone else and what made me think about it was last weekend when I actually met folks from here.

I think I read it here, don't sweat the small stuff, don't pet the sweaty stuff.

Naw, but you sound like a genuinely fun person. I only posted that BEFORE I read the 15 page epic thread about Brian. My bad, gotta be quicker on the uptake. At any rate, it mostly applies. The funniest thing about that whole deal that no one made a point about was that Brian, or no one else from their club made one bit of stink about Humbebe posting the event here to tell people about it (where I found out about it) Kinda checkvalve, one-way thinkin' there.
