Not even close. An inversion of Lion's Back would be so much different. Going down Hells Gate would be a breeze, and coming up would be relatively easy- except for that one 15 ft stretch. But consider it done.

Ken, that's what happens with a ****ty spotter, not paying attention and going too fast. At least they kept their arms in the rig and didn't get them pinched off.

PARAGON 05-28-2005 02:29 PM

The spotter was trying to get her right but she kept the wheels turned left and rode up the rock face and didn't seem to ever clutch it

What an awsome video Paragon, not what happened but the fact they got the whole thing. It seems like most of the time the person shooting the vid. stands up or looses the frame when the "event" happens.

You dork, I posted it. :lot's of smiles and winks: Paragon's right, she kept going left and didn't follow the instructors directions.

That's a lesson to remember. Also NOT hitting the brakes and getting off the gas may have prevented it.

Kevin B 05-28-2005 03:52 PM

Did you just refer to me as whale genitalia ??

I deserved that, props where they belong Ken, sorry.

My temporary avatar must have screwed you up.

Awesome video, Ken. Honestly though, it looks like the spotter was a little OTL. It looks to me like he had her going left/straight just a little too long. When he started signaling her to go right, it looked like her FR wheel was so wedged against the canyon wall, that no steering system would have allowed her to turn her wheels to the right. Admittedly, she was a little to heavy on the gas.

Fubar00, my under loved good friend, you gotta loosen up a little and read more carefully.

I didn't say if you took a photographic image and inverted it, I said a physical impression. Those less challenged will realize this is like taking a wax or plaster impression of a steep fin. What you get is a narrow, steep upward cut in the material taking the impression. If you invert that, voile, you get a narrow steep valley. This is not rocket science. I will admit that I love your double exposure, despite it having nothing to do with my comment. But it was not my drug-addled brain that came up with it.

Now for your benefit, since I know you are a visual learner, I have posted a tool for you. Try imagining the turquoise is sky and the rest is land. It bears significant resembalnce to the shape of Hell's Gate. It is Lion's back, in negative and inverted.

Wise guy!

Here's a perverted version....

DRTYFN 05-28-2005 11:24 PM

Ok, you two 'shroom-eaters can stop it right now!!
Tower, I think we all understood what you were talking about the first time. You really need to mix in some red meat, because your vitamin deficient hallucinations are getting worse.

H2CP- go grab Ken and work off that pent up sexual energy.

tower 05-28-2005 11:24 PM

LMAO!!
That Kenny, He's a lucky guy!

Do you really put little toy trucks on Kenny's...
uh... Nevermind.

Fubar's animation, double exposure, flip-flop makes me feel kind'of dirty. I'd like to see the legs. I bet they're long.

Tower, I understood what you meant. Fubar is just trying to sneak porn into a family forum.

Got it! How ignorant of me. I'm not sure if it's male or female and I can't tell which end is up.
But i believe it's pregnant.

I know, but it's still dirty. I just can't figure out if and/or where my face should go.
