After seeing the admin of FJCruiserForums wheel this weekend I am confident in saying that FJ Cruiser > H3 :(

Check out the Sunday thread where I posted a couple of the only pics we took this weekend. The FJ did 2 trails that the only other relatively stock rigs I saw even attempt were a Rubi and me in my H2.

The deal was though that the FJ Trail Team was having the media and whomever drive the FJs without ever hitting the locker button. They wouldn't let them use the lockers, traction control only. With some good spotting by the Trail Team members and good use of the rock rails to make it around some of the bigger rocks.

I'll put it this way. It impressed Jeep guys on 39s and 44s because it followed them on a couple of hard trails.

Don't look like a dumbass if you are gonna bash. It's an aftermarket ARB bumper that has a winch in it and they had to use that winch a ton this weekend. I suppose it's not considered stock since it has a Hi-lift on top either.:lame:

That's some awesome wheeling by those FJs. They obviously deserve respect offroad. But if you didn't actually see an H3 fail where the FJ succeeded, how can you say the FJ > H3 ? You said yourself that they needed the winch much of the time. Put a winch on an H3 and I bet it would do the same obstacles.

I appreciate the strengths of the FJ, but none of that convinces me the FJ is superior. I stand by what I wrote in another thread ...

Another dumbass? Where did I said that they needed the winch "much of the time"?

I have wheeled with both FJs and H3s. Have you? I know the capabilities of both as I have seen it first hand and not from a bunch of web wheelers like yourself. FWIW, there were no winch pulls on the trail that the FJ is on in the pics above. It made it all the way without pulling strap or rope.

All someone with an H3 has to do is signup and go to Grayrock, AL this coming weekend. It's the annual Fall for All and it's turning out to be one of the biggest event in the South.
