For steering around corners, similar to the old long hook and ladder firetrucks. It would hurt if that beam fell on his head.:giggling:

We should have camped here, but we had no idea what was waiting for us up the road. Now we know why everyone kept saying, "I've never been all the way thru the Rubicon, I always turn around half way".

This is by the Lake (can't remember the name of it.:o )(buck or something)

This part of the trail was just like the exit of Goldenspike. Ledges that needed a little bump to get up.

Tim was right, this made Goldenspike look like a cakewalk. :crying: I'm really glad I was with people I know and trust. Thanks everyone! I'll stack rocks for you guys anytime!:perfect10s: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Observation Point. I parked, looked around for a minute and then started down the trail pruning and cutting as I went.

Not a bit of body damage from rocks, but my paint is 'tatered pretty good from the brush.
