thats a good shot of the convoy.

I'm somewhat dissapointed at myself for not taking more pictures. I know Amir was taking lots of pics, so I cant wait to see his set.

shhrtbs 02-13-2006 06:08 PM

we shot some video on the way back to the lake, but i haven't looked at it yet. still pics i can figure out, still trying to figure out how to upload the video.

MarK M 02-13-2006 08:26 PM

hey lester... brian was telling me you got a pump that pumps much faster then your ordinary car pump.

what brand/model do you have? airing back up with the chinsy car pump took forever.

thanks

shhrtbs 02-13-2006 09:31 PM

viair 400. soldered a warn connector to it so i could use the winch power at the rear bumper. takes about 5-7 minutes to go from 18 to 38 psi on my tires.

otherwise, how would you run it if you dont have a warn winch... battery via battery terminals?

shhrtbs 02-13-2006 11:30 PM

they come with battery clips, like on jumper cables. i can't open the hood with the winch on the front, so it was easier this way. as long as you can get to your battery, you can leave it the way it comes. it pumps out a good bit of water though, don't know what my steel rims are going to look like when i get new tires.

NEOCON1 02-14-2006 01:02 AM

wow great pix looks like a great run and great turn out thanx for sharing

BABHUMV 02-14-2006 03:32 AM

MarK M,
Good shot of the GOBI on your rig.

I have the Viair 400 too. I just clip it on the battery with the engine running. Works great.

Looks like a good time by all, thanks for the pics.

Hey Bab, thanks for chiming in on the Viair. I'm gonna look into it.

BTW, Lester/BAB where did you pic up the Viair?

shhrtbs 02-14-2006 07:23 PM

central 4 wheel drive is where i got mine, but 4 wheel parts wholesale carries them, and i think hummersolutions is going to carry them too. as for the water, all compressors generate moisture from condensation.
