Well today I got my first "Hummer" flip off...

I was driving down the road when the young lady decided to step into my lane from the sidewalk. She then proceded to flip me off for no other reason then the fact that I was driving a Hummer. She then continued to cross the roadway.

Unfortinitally for the young lady she did not cross at a marked cross walk...

Also unfortinitally for the young lady I am a police officer. So the young lady was issued a $ 80.00 fine for illegally crossing and a $ 280.00 fine for stopping in a traffic lane and disrupting the free flow of traffic.

I think that she will think twice before she does that again!

That is awesome... I wish I could do that... I have only received compliments so far about my H3.

I WannaHummer 12-02-2005 02:39 PM

That is pretty much the best thing I have heard all day!!

After reading the "Ignorant Tree Hugging Loser" thread a few days back, it's good to know there was some kind of payback.

KenP 12-02-2005 03:09 PM

Holy Crap that's funny! Good for you.

PAY BACK! I love it!Take that you stupid tree hugger!

Steve - SanJose 12-03-2005 07:25 PM

Yea, let's see officer wannabe is driving his H3 and is out of uniform. But he writes a ticket anyway, knowing that he will have to explain this event to the judge in court. But I would believe it if there was a doughnut shop in the vicinity.

Wow

XM DUDE 12-03-2005 09:36 PM

Cops can make arrests off duty as well.

Steve - SanJose 12-03-2005 10:52 PM

Ok

Klint 12-03-2005 11:31 PM

Did you get a marked car to do it or did you ID yourself as a police officer?

Good job man!

Steve - SanJose 12-03-2005 11:51 PM

I've got nothing against cops. This makes for a good story as long has it has cred. And it it's true, great.

And the comment about doughnut shops is out of date in silicon valley, it should be Starbucks.

I was flipped off once by a woman standing by the side of the road in the Santa Cruz mountains. She mistook my H3 for a H2. My friends laughed since it "validates" the H3 somewhat. But overall the reactions to the H3 have been very positive.
