While the eastern half of the country was suffering a serious snowstorm, we were busy creating our own SANDSTORM!

Thankfully, the Mojave River in Afton Canyon afforded us a chance to splash the rigs clean...

Bondage 02-13-2006 09:58 PM

15 rigs, about 130 miles of harsh desert terrain, two full days of driving, and not one breakdown or problem! Awesome drivers and outstanding rigs - HUMMER...TRULY like nothing else!

I thought you said your picture-taking quality was lame...?

Those look pretty good to me...

Not going to post my pics now...nope.

Did you get any good pics from the soda lake or the dropoff? Oh wait you were in front!

Thanks again for a great experience! Met some very cool people on the run, a great experience!

beavis

I'll cook Carne asada for the Rat Patrol anytime!

They don't. But Rodster bought enough for everyone and they were quite the quality! It did make it much easier to spot vehicles around you in our own self-made sand storm weather system we created! With the flags and all lights powered on, well, at least you knew who was going to hit you!!

This decent is fairly easy but not aseasy as it looks. I think everybody slid to the bottom of the hill -even in 4-LO.

Stradling the ditch at the bottom is where I destroyed my rims.

Salt looks like snow. We hauled across this flat at about 70 before finding a ditch.

After the first two rigs from the left you will see the famous rock pile.

Strange place this is....

Nobody will tell you where these frogs are from what I read. You have to find them yourselfs and we never would have except for the very curious and active children we were blessed with on this trip.
