Okay, I want a Rock Buggy. I saw one at Paragon and I want one bad. Not that I dislike the H2 in anyway, I just want something with more articulation (thanks for the lingo PhilD), proper mods, and a roll cage. Something I won't feel bad about knocking around and scratching etc..Does anyone have experience with one?

LOL..but I would probably keep the Red Thunder.

I agree with the street legal with mods for learning.

Can't I hire a little man for the mechanical stuff? Or would that be posing if I drive and don't get all butched up with grease and tools?

What vehicle- a CJ?

KenP 05-05-2005 10:27 PM

Seth, you can stop right there. This thread needs to die a FAST death.

h2co-pilot 05-05-2005 10:42 PM

Let us say there isn't a budget. I have eyelashes to bat, just how many times would be the question.

I want an old CJ for the first one (learning). I won't drive it but off-road, I wouldn't be caught dead in a Jeep in public. That's worse than the minivan.

PARAGON 05-05-2005 11:01 PM

No budget? Jeep? Hmmmm........ Rock Buggy, right? I think I have it.

h2co-pilot 05-05-2005 11:21 PM

That is awesome!!!

Must have a lot of contraptions for the wheel control. What is that?

Probably a little more than eyelash batting for that huh?

Just kidding, Ken. You too hone.........hmph!!!!!

h2co-pilot 05-06-2005 12:30 PM

Yeah, I don't want to buy something and see it through the process of mods because I might feel bad about hurting it. Fuel injection sounds good even though I am clueless about that stuff. I will check the bay and see what's avail. Some guys at Paragon sell them regularly too. Thanks S. ~S

Ok, it was a joke. As in my head falling on the "b" key after my wife hit me. Someone coulda just asked me to edit it and I would've. You didn't have to bother Jason with it. Geesh.

PARAGON 05-06-2005 01:29 PM

Well, you should not be looking at it so esoterically.

Now that's articulation.

h2co-pilot 05-06-2005 03:22 PM

That's BAD ASS!!!!

Hold on a minute...Mmmmmm..yeah..ahhhhhh!

That's what momma wants - eventually.

h2co-pilot 05-06-2005 03:27 PM

Paragon, I'm glad your alright!

I got the joke but didn't know you meant your wife was hitting you. I thought something happened. I was going to pm you this morning to check but I saw your post on the "pic of the month" thread this a.m.

PARAGON 05-06-2005 03:48 PM

Sorry, it was a weak attempt at a humorous follow up to Klaus' comment about my wife reading over my shoulder.......oh well.

If you really cared, you woulda called.

h2co-pilot 05-06-2005 04:09 PM

No, now that I think of it- it was pretty hilarious.

If I asked for your phone number and called:

A. Kenny would have thought I was trying to give you a bunch of "B's" for the concept buggy.

B. You would have thought the same thing.

C. Your wife would have really hit you if she got the wrong impression.

h2co-pilot 05-06-2005 06:26 PM

LOL!! Off da hook mang!!

KenP 05-06-2005 07:55 PM

Where's the link to that Rhino truck or whatever it was called? It was on SpikeTV Extreme 4x4 a few weeks ago.

Let's see... First your wife reads your posts and clobbers you. Then the phone rings, your wife answers it, and it's a female on the other end asking for you.

No need for an ambulance... They'll be calling a slow moving vehicle for you!

I tried calling you, but no answer.

PARAGON 05-07-2005 01:06 AM

I'm down at the ranch. You coulda tried voice mail.

h2co-pilot 05-10-2005 12:25 AM

Thanks Phil, I appreciate the links. Saw some kewl stuff.

I think if I really built it I would feel bad driving it hard and may try to make it pretty.

How about one of these off road bikes.
cons- no suspension, smokey, loud.
Pros- vibrates, shakes, vibrates more.

h2co-pilot 05-30-2005 09:22 PM

Those are actually pretty cool. That's a Rokon right? I have had a blast on dirt bikes and atv's up in PA, didn't mind the smoke and noise- the coal dust gave me a nice coating though.

The pro's sound really good ( ), but I'm kinda looking at the Rhino right now and maybe not even. There aren't many places to wheel around here. So now I'm reconsidering what toys to get.

Dug 05-31-2005 11:00 PM

Yes, thats a rokon, I'm impressed most guys dont know what it is.
Well, hope ya find something to fun to buy . Maybe a H3?

tower 05-31-2005 11:15 PM

I'll take a mo (snowmobile) over any of that stuff. Except maybe a gal covered in coal dust.

Dug 05-31-2005 11:30 PM

Tower , this is a mini snowmobile that I am thinking of reproducing . This is a pic of it on ebay. I just picked it up.

Dug 05-31-2005 11:33 PM

Oh ya, heres the pic.

h2co-pilot 05-31-2005 11:44 PM

That's pretty cool. Give it some shocks, make it a little lighter........

Dug 06-01-2005 12:37 AM

Good thinkin, maybe a shock under the seat.
Wow! smart & smokin need a job?

h2co-pilot 06-01-2005 04:05 PM
